The proposal is to buy a fairly large quantity of Toroids with not just 110/220V inputs with dual 15V secondaries, but to add in a third set of secondary windings for 5V. This way, we won't have to chain a 7805 regulator after a 7815 and try to burn off 10V in heat. I intend to buy at least 100 of these for the next batch of MB-808 kits, so I thought I'd spread the love and give other people the chance to get one of these custom wound transformers.
Price will depend upon quantity, but I'm hoping for less than $20 US per toroid…
