Antix 8 Posted November 1, 2011 Report Nice work. How do you do the tinning of the copper surface? Regards Antix Quote
Schrabikus 9 Posted November 1, 2011 Report Boiling in water with citric acid and Rose's metal :sorcerer: is the video showing the process (unfortunately in russian, but it`s quite descriptive) All you need is citric acid (works with acetic too), Rose`s metal and cotton swab or wiping blade for cleaning redundant tin from plate. Antix 8 Posted November 1, 2011 Report It is very descriptive. Dont know where I can find Rose metal  I have to search Thanks Antix Quote
Schrabikus 9 Posted November 2, 2011 Report You can use Wood's metal (50% bismuth, 25–28% lead and 22–25% tin) instead. Its melting point is lower than Rose`s I`ve bought it at local radio store. Quote
