  1. Oh, answering that is very simple: I started DIY again 6 years ago (when my eyes have been much better than now) and after a few eurorack modules i decided to build 1 Seq4L and on big SEQ4. Knowing that my skills are not perfect i ordered 3 core PCBs and 6 years ago CORE-17 was usual. Last week i ordered a STM32F4developer board for my new core-pcb, so i will be up to date with that. But why wasting a working core-17 board? I might use it for experimenting with expansions. Cheers Paul
  2. Thanks again. And sorry, did see your 1st reply after 15 minutes delayed hitting send button (got a phone call from my very aged mother) so it crossed :-)
  3. I hoped to hear that and will give it a try ordering now. Thanks mate.
  4. OK, I should have asked more precise: Will anyone with more abilities than me in reading datasheets and more abilities in identifying incompatibilities and more experiences with processor-boards help me deciding if actual offered LPCXpresso1769 with CMSIS-DAP is compatible with the old LPCXpresso1769 boards. I'm sorry to say, that neither my eyes (getting old) nor my skills in rapid searching are good enough to do it myself. https://www.embeddedartists.com/products/lpcxpresso/lpc1769_cmsis_xpr.php Thanks in advance.
  5. I'm looking for a Processor to put in my old and working (second) MBHP-LPC17 board, but I couldn't find any LPCXpresso1769 anymore. Instead i found a few "LPCXpresso1769 with CMSIS-DAP" whatever that is. The LPC1769-part of it is looking quite similar to my processor, will that work? regards paul
  6. Hi TK, I have a lot of GrooveBoxes (Roland MCs, Electribes, Seq4L, MidiREX) and on most devices there is the same problem in connecting with a master clock device while receiving notes from other devices. So i need mergers. But i want to merge all signals EXCEPT clock signals (#FA, #FB, #FC, #F8). And sometimes I like to split MIDI IN into a MIDI OUT(1) containing all data except clock signal and a second MIDI OUT(2) which only takes the clock signals. I could do it with a big machine, but i prefer little boxes (more useful if only taking a few devices to a session). So i struggled over your very easy to build MIDI Merger based on 16F88. I'm going to build that on stripboard anyway after my coming vaccation, but few questiones occure now: How does it handle incomming clock signals from both inputs? (I have no plan on programming PICs - so i can't follow the code by now - this might change in future  ) Are Clock signals only taken from IN 1 or first sending clock is the one who can send? Is it easy to add a second MIDI-Out to the merger which carries only incomming clock signals? If so i think it will be an interesting "swiss knife" for a lot of GrooveBox owners. Thanks anyway for all your efforts to DIY community! Best regards Paul
  7. Danke, danke, danke!
Es heisst: "Once the IDE has been installed, another registration has to be done to enable the LPC-Link interface - ready!
Gruss Paul
