  1. This trough-hole SD Card Connector is wonderful! Where can i get that?
  2. Hi. Wondering if the Schematic of STM32F4 is still Prototype or just the Boardlayout has to be checked? Can someone confirm that the Schematic is out of beta-stadium? Thanks Novski
  3. Hallo Token_one Hast du schon den eingang des travos abgehängt und gemessen was rein fliesst? Und was raus kommt wenn sek. Teil abgehängt wird? Den Travo zu finden wird schwer... Vieleicht über ein reparatur center für mackie...
  4. I have this running. It works well! but be carefull if you layout your own board. The Library files contain several different versions and i chose the wrong one in my first Layout... br,novski
  5. Oh! I din't realize that there is a totaly different usecase... Best regards
  6. Oh! thats a shame... (schade lässt sich nicht direkt übersetzten und shame ist für Deutsche missverständlich aber ich meine damit "schade"...) So we have to do almost the same for MB_NG again. Will that change with the support of STM32F4 for MB_NG somehow? best regards novski
  7. Hi I just folowed this thred and noticed some similar usecases from what im trying to establish. What i need is a 8 OLED and 8 Encoder with LED rings on one board. So i read the CV2 describtion and coldn't find the reason why CV2 just needs 4 OLED and 1 LED Display. Wats the reason? Best regards Novski
  8. Anybody know what a Button is used here: Best regards novski
  9. It does not look like that chinaware has coils like the MagJack inside... Where in Germany are they available? Best regards Novski
  10. still nobody... Question; Are you searching a MagJack for a PCB from SmashTV or are you makeing your own PCB? best regards novski
  11. I can't follow. I think a ATX PS has 5&12V but i don't understand why you need 12V for a SEQ. Or maybe you meen the 3.3V? Please describe a litte more what you whant to do...
  12. works perfect on a LPC17 core.
  13. Wow. Congratulations. Looks very interesting. Whats the Price of that RTP-MIDI OEM board? best regards novski
  14. Hi Cosmosuave just found a wrong name of a IC in the description of Available Ports: False: When used as +5V input: for supplying the core from an external stabilized Power Supply Unit (PSU). The voltage regulator (IC3) doesn't need to be connected, also the rest of the voltage stabilization circuit between J1 and J2 (X1, C8, C9) can be left out. If the core module (and all connected modules to this branch) drains more than 100 mA, it's recommended to mount C8 directly to J2 (a small cable between the outer soldering pads of the left-out 7805 will do this) Corrected: When used as +5V input: for supplying the core from an external stabilized Power Supply Unit (PSU). The voltage regulator (IC6) doesn't need to be connected, also the rest of the voltage stabilization circuit between J1 and J2 (X1, C8, C9) can be left out. If the core module (and all connected modules to this branch) drains more than 100 mA, it's recommended to mount C8 directly to J2 (a small cable between the outer soldering pads of the left-out 7805 will do this) best regards novski
  15. Yes correct. The its IC6 and you have to make a bridge between Pin 1 to Pin 3 of IC6 (7805) to stabilize the 5V. Please don't connect Pin 2!!!
  16. further infos: http://ucapps.de/mbhp_mf_ng.html and schematic: http://ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_mf_ng.pdf. best regards novski
  17. Thanks for the quick implementation! Wold you recommend to buffer SCLK and SDA after every eighth display or less? updated the schematic, do you mean like this? best regards novski
  18. #2 Works!!!! https://www.dropbox.com/s/7c4lfav0hokuo5i/2013-12-30%2017.15.45.mov Taking out R33 didn't change the behavior. It still does not work on E1. E2 works well. So what solution do you consider for future? Seams to get quite difficult to get a oled chain working with J15A,J15B & J28.... best regards novski
  19. Just had a idea witch is not a solution, but more a test. Can we use the Serial Output of IC2 (pin 9) to connect other Shiftregisters as done on DOUT boards...? Wold may be interesting what happens to the following displays... (?) novski
  20. R11 belongs to CAN bus J18 its R9 that dosn't hurt if already soldered. And SA is SD on the schematic http://ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_core_lpc17.pdf this is the corrected text to copy: A second IIC port, which can also be used as an additional MIDI IN/OUT port (MIDI IN4/OUT4) if enabled in MIOS32 (add "#define MIOS32_UART_NUM 4" to the mios32_config.h file). MIDI IN4 will be available on the J4B.SC. If a 6N138 based optocoupler circuit should be connected, replace the 2.2k pull-up R10 by 1k, or add a second 2.2k in parallel to get 1.1k effectively. MIDI OUT4 will be available on the J4B.SD pin, it isn't required to remove R9 if already soldered - it doesn't hurt. I hope this is helpful and correct. best regards novski
  21. Hi TK. I tested the two. SDA@RW & SDA@E2: All oled show content now thats the good news. But at my side they still flip over the edge and get corrupted on oled 1-8, when 9-16 continues stable. As soon as i detach the D0,D1,DC lines from the oled 9-16 the oleds 1-8 become steady (the flipped ones stay fliped and don't change their layout anymore). And after a reboot they show stable and correct content of Test.app. Thats a bit different then with the software before Christmas. Because before Christmas they immediately cached up and get steady content without a reboot... its so hard to describe so i made a video where i show you the tests. First a old app then the two new ones... https://www.dropbox.com/s/vox221xgtzgxacr/2013-12-30%2011.03.29.mov Please note that oled #1 is right hand sided and 8 at left. Count Displays from Right to Left... best regards novski
  22. HI TK. no thats a wrong assumption. Yes, i had to take a different cable because i tested with 16 header Female DIL contacts and to take one connection out is impossible, so i now tested with single wires. No, the Cable length is kept as short as possible. one thing i just recognized is that if i disconnect oled9-16 and reboot than the oled 1-8 work perfect. A question: I see the Serial IN of IC2 (SR of oled1-8) is connected over 1kOhm to LCDvolt. And the Serial IN of a DOUT is not. What is the difference between those 2 use-cases of 74HC595? ( {Thinking loud...} is it possible that that Serial input is inverted and the inversion causes a delay so the alignment of the Datalines D0,D1,DC is not coherent with the CS lines anymore, or something like that...) i don't care to wait. I hope we get that running someday... :-) but first, i wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of coarse as well! best regards novski
  23. OK, i tried it... it does not work on my side. And to me it seams a bit worse than bevor. bevor i had 5 oleds display something, now with mios32_test_app_lcd_ssd1306_LPC1769__20131221.zip i have 3 displays showing something. #3 is corupted #5 is working for 1 min than corrupted #7 is corrupted #8 sometimes there are some digits apear alone... most of the time its black. #9-16 work perfect. best regards novski
  24. i just made a discovery. As i said the self made pcb works, but as soon the cable length precedes more than 70cm also there i get corruption on OLEDs 9-16. whats quite strange is that the corruption on OLED 1-8 appears already after about 20-30cm of cable length and gets worse. I drawn a schematic to explane the cable lengt in detail: my Cable A is and always stays 8cm, B is the cable i vary. Cable B = 10cm - no problem every oled works fine Cable B = 30cm - oleds 1-8 corrupt, mostly n°3 & n°5 first. Followed by 6,7,8. one an two are OK as well as all oleds on second SR (oled9-16) so D0,D1 & DC seams to be very sensitiv on cable length. What i see is a total stable second SR oled line (oled9-16) . So why don't we try to test without oleds on j15 as a workaround? Wold it be possible to not initialize the IC2 as shift-register for oled 1-8 and initialize the shiftregister that now drives oled 9-16 as oled CS 1-8? best regards novski ps: i once scanned the smashTV PCB before i assembled it but just top side... i can't see anything bad or exceptional or so... (i changed the C because i wanted to test it and go sure its not a broken part that makes me stumble... )
