  1. Selling my "House of Marley Destiny TTR" Headphones on ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/290789040197

  2. i had a fan in my MB-6582. On the SID Chips i had small copper coolers (for VGA graphic cards). I dont know if it is needed, but i have always been a friend of the safe side :ahappy:
  3. here is a new teaser that was posted on matrixsynth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_gu1rmtoaZ4 I would really love to have a little peek inside the case. i dont like modemachines, all those threads on adafruit i have seen in the past years.. but still in respect to the designer (if he has not stolen anything), i gotta say i kinda like the design and the sounds in the video. other than that i would personally never buy anything from modemachines, but this are just my 2 cents. but i guess, looking at the ASID64 (which is a MB-6582 from the first sight), i dont think that they came up with something themselves for their Mode Machines SID. Looking at the design it seems that they ripped the adafruit version of the x0xb0x sequencer and connected a SID module (and a fancy iPAD Mode which every real c64 lover would die for) to it. the owner of mode machines also said in a video on youtube that the first 300 units come with a genuine sid chip (i wonder where those rare parts come from) and the other units will be using an replica which is just as "good" lets all just respect each other and dont make profit on others ideas :clover:

    SID 8550 R5 ?!

if i would want to sell them more expensive, i would print the actual 8580 on it not a number that you cant even find on google anywhere :P It is because i dont have a genuine chip here for reference.. i cant tell you if the filter behavior is like it should, when i turn the cutoff i can hear that some frequencies are cut off, but the range doesnt sound right to me, same for resonance. As soon as i get my 8580 from androSID i will compare them, and its never a bad choice to have some SIDs as spares...

    SID 8550 R5 ?!

Ok.. as far as i know, they are working, all the patches are playing fine, but still i am not sure if they are working like a 8580R5.. If anyone want to have 2x 8550R5 for their collection, message me, i am maybe getting rid of those :flowers:
  6. still looking for a sammichSID Case :-(

  7. Hey guys.. Anyone know something about those chips ? I guess they are not genuine :frantics:
  8. It cant be long till ModeMachines will bring a MidiBox Sid "MK II" on the market then.. just sayin' ...

  11. Hello I am missing some parts for my sammichSID to complete it. I dont have a case for my sammich and i am missing the buttons. Anyone got an idea where to get those parts ? Thanks Patrick
  12. I would be interested in it maybe, message me if you have permission to sell it.. Greets Patrick
  13. Thanks thorsten. I think it should just start/stop so that it is in sync with the bassline or drums whenever i start them (with F1). would be great to have that feature, thanks. Anyone know anything about the 8550 R5 Sids that i have ?! Are those fake ? Do they sound different ? Should i record a patch (tell me which one) so that we can compare ? Thanks
  14. No it is 8550 R5, thats why i am asking! I read in the V1 Manual that sending clock was possible, but i didnt read it in the V2 ?! i dont get the point, maybe someone knows how to use the sammichSID as master clock (midi out). Thanks
  15. Hey Guys, Question 1: i just got my sammichSID and there are some questions which i couldnt solve by looking at the manual. I want to send a midi clock from the sammichSID over the midi out port to sync my gameboy (arduinoboy/lsdj). The Arduinoboy doesnt respont if i start the sequencer by pressing F1 on the sammichSID. The Arduinoboy responds perfectly when i send a midiclock through my PC DAW, so it must be something wrong with the sammich. I think it should be Possible in Bassline mode, but i tried different things that didnt work out. What am i doing wrong ? Question 2: I opened the sammichSID and saw that there are 2x 8550 R5 MOS Chips in it. I never heard of 8550, are those replicas ? Question 3: My case broke, is there a place where i can buy sammichSID Cases or does anyone have the File for use with Ponoko ? Thanks guys for your help :flowers:
