  1. Sold some of the caps and knobs, LPC and Rean knobs still available. Thank for the tip jojjelito
  2. Embedded Artists LPCXpresso LPC1769 Rev C board - $30 shipped Purchased for the MIDIBox Seq 4 project but never ended up using. 20x Rean Black pointer knobs - Make an offer! Purchased from sempervirent. These are round shaft Rean knobs with a white pointer. US shipping preferred but I'm willing to ship internationally. Shoot me a PM or email or reply to this thread.
  3. I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of the correct ethernet port part to used with the LPC17 board on the SEQ4 project. I've purchased 2 ethernet sockets so far and neither has aligned properly to the PCB (the pin orientation is correct but some of the extra through-hole points do not align). I'm hoping to order the part via Digikey so I would appreciate if someone could point me to a specific correct part that they sell. Thank you!
  4. Oh snap! Is this still available? I've been looking to get one of these cases and panels for a long long time! EDIT: I'm gonna put my name on the Batch #2 list just in case.
  5. Yup, LPCXPRESSO board still has the programmer connected to it and I don't have it plugged into anything else at the moment. Just standalone.
  6. Yes, 5.2.6 is the IDE I've been using since I tried using the newer versions and the FreeRTOS projects were not in the templates. Any ideas?
  7. I've been scratching my eyes out trying to figure why I can't load the MIOS bootloader onto my LPC board. I've tried using the LPC IDE on some of my other machines but had no luck getting them to communicate with the LPC board via USB. I plugged the LPC into my Windows 7 laptop today and I finally got the Program Flash window to pop up successfully. Now when I try to flash the LPC I am getting an error in the IDE software, "Target is not marked as debuggable". I've read a few posts here that suggest trying different USB cables and I've tried 3 different ones so far with no luck. I've also tried playing around with some of the debugging options in the IDE, setting debugging to "none" in the Perspectives panel, also toggling Vector caching to True as NXP's documents suggest, but neither has fixed the issue. The only other option I have to try is installing a newer version of the IDE software (I'm running an older version, 5 I believe) but I'm really upset at this error message! Any suggestions on how to fix this so I can flash MIOS onto my LPC board would be appreciated. Thank you!
  8. Yeah I'm seeing the STM32F4 and MIDI I/O boards available on SmashTV as well. Hope to see a better picture of the boards pop up online so I can get a better idea of the layout. I don't think the boards have a place for a USB port. I'd order one now, but I put my name on the list of control surface PCBs/kits and want to get all my SmashTV PCBs and parts in one order.
  9. Ahh thank you very much Tim! I'll be buying a few other parts from you with that order, but I'll wait to hear back when you've gotten to me in the queue. Name added.
  10. Yeah I love SmashTV, only thing is that the wiki page I linked to has buying options for both the control surface PCB (which Smash sells) and a control surface parts kit (which I don't think he sells). I have no problem sourcing parts on my own but I would prefer to buy a kit if it was available and the price was right.
  11. Is there a particular method to adding my name to the Control Surface PCB and kit list on the wiki (http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=wilba_mb_seq_pcb_bulk_order)? I can't log in to edit the page at all :(
  12. I'm about to embark on a SEQ V4 as well and am wondering if there is a good resource or thread for reading up on how this project has changed in recent months due to updated hardware options. From reading another thread in this forum I see that the makers of the LPCXpresso board have made a revision such that the LPCXpresso and the MBHP_CORE_LPC17 board don't fit together nicely without some modification. Other threads are mentioning that a faster board with some better features, the STM32F4 is able to be used with the SEQ V4 project. Are other comments in this thread correct that SmashTV will be selling a revised version of the front panel board eventually? Would it be wise to start working on a SEQ V4 at this point or is waiting a few months until some of these newer revisions show themselves a better option?
  13. I am at this stage in building my MB 6582 but can't seem to source a good quality cable for the control surface to main board connection. I prefer to deal with Mouser or Digikey if I can. I did find one suitable cable on Mouser, but instead of 8 individual wire strands the cable had 4 pairs of 2 wires. Doesn't sound like the right kind of cable for this project. Anyone have some recommendation for connector cable from Mouser or Digitech? Ebay?
