  1. Het is gelukt, ik was blijkbaar niet ingelogd de eerste keer en dan werkt het niet.
  2. OK I have the stuff working! today I tried again the registration via my account on the website and after entering the serial I have got the activation code and now it works. Now next chapter
  3. Hier nog een nederlander, ben nieuw hier dankzij een project om een Fatar 88key keybed te midificeren. Hiervoor wil ik een Midibox KB gaan gebruiken.
  4. Ik ben net begonnen met het hele Midibox gebeuren en de materialen zijn binnen, nu loop ik meteen vast met de software om de bootloader in de controller te krijgen. Ik heb alles gedaan zoals beschreven bij de LPC1769core maar het lukt niet om de software te registreren. Als ik via het Help menu wil activeren en serial number opvraag wordt ik doorgestuurd naar de website welke echter page not found aangeeft. doe ik iets fout?
  5. I found that in the Help menu but when I start the activation It goes to the website that gives page not found, I tried this many times but don't work.
  6. I have the LPCXpresso and the software installed on my PC (Windows7) Red led on the LPC is blinking I can follow the steps till the the start of USB flashing. The button in the program turns to grey and followed by a massage thet this option is not available with this licence. I was reading something about registration but this is not clear for me, I did the registration on the website but I think something is wrong. Of course I have the older version of the program version 5.2.6
  7. I think there are specials for Doepher and Orla keyboards. I bought this keybed for 20 euro and is coming from a Doepher master keyboard.
  8. PCB ready, there is a groundplane for readabilty I have switched of the toplayer. There are not much traces in the toplayer so the groundplane is very close. Midi fatar.bmp dimensions are 155x45mm, it fits on the fatar frame near the 40 pole connector.
  9. OK, I started yesterday with routing of the PCB, with 45x160mm it will find a place in the keybed frame. I don't use all the IO of the controller, I use only the Midi in out, USB, the connections to the matrix and the analog inputs so I can keep the PCB small.
  10. Yes each module have an address, it is just a little bit logic (address decoding) and a trigger circuit. A data register will receive the velocity info and can have 8bits max. The modules will be build on eurocard and have 4 sounds, in a double 19inch rack it is possible to have 16 modules. I am planning to make a set of 808 sounds and also wave sound modules. with 7 bits resolution for velocity and 6 bits address plus a strobe I need 14 outputs on the controller. It will be nice to set the Midichannel from 1 to 16. The job for the controller must be simple, just receive the NOTE ON command and put the data on the addreslines and the velocity value on the data lines and generate the strobe pulse. maybe better to have 7 Address lines just to set the complete Note on command on the addresbus.

I want to make a controller that receive Midi data and must drive analog modules (max 64) One of the advances is that I want to send also the velocity value to the module, I am thinking about a module that give an address and data on a bussystem. The module will be triggered by writing on an address (0-63) the velocity value, this is enough info for my modules. I need only the Note on command to trigger the module with the velocity value. Is this possible with one of the Midibox projects?
  12. I edited the schematic so you see how the routing is to the 40 pole connector my idea is to separate the blue lines between the left and right side and connect the right side to the second input register and left side to the first.
  13. See my previous post, I just added a schematic, the orla schematic below let see the connections on the 40 pole connector keep in mind that the rows of the groups of 4 keys on the right and leftside are connected together and the blue lines of the left and rightside are paralleled.
  14. Here a pic of the PCB's connections, it is not my keyboard but the PCB's are the same and also the contacts. I want to keep the small 20 pole flatcable and cut the traces of I0-I7 and place the 8 wires between the the 20 pole jumper to the free contacts of the 40 pole jumper. Here the schematic of my keyboard, how the contacts are routed to the 40pole connector is given in the schematic of the Orla keyboard.
  15. It is indeed a normal flatcable, a will make a PCB for the controller and I/O in one and connect direct to the 40 pole connector. On the 40 pole connector there are 8 pins free so I can wire the extra pins for I0-I7, the paralleling of the rows I want to do on the controller board. Only question is where to split the I0-I7 lines for the left and right side, now it is between key 44 and 45. That is a little bit strange in my opinion because it is in the middle of row MK5/BK5
