  1. Here is a few pics of my midibox sid. The heads are the buttons. The rotary encoder and volume are from a AKAI s950. I tried to upcycle as many parts as possible.
  2. All systems are go, many thanks! I constructed the body from lego, will upload tonight
  3. Thanking you! Ah, even scrolling across the screen won't let me get to the save parameter? I am starting my build on the body of the sid today, will upload it when it is finished. Thanks for your time Leonard
  4. Hi all, I am wondering if someone can help me out. I have a midibox sid I have built with v1.7303 (i have the old microcontroller PIC18F452) I have 1 x bankstick (it is formatted with 128 blank patches) and the minimal control surface. I have used two PSU's, one at 12v to power sid and core (all correct voltages are showing). and one 5v to power the backlight on the LCD as to save the voltage regulator on the core from getting too hot. It is working well apart from a couple of things. My problem is I can't do two things: a) load any patches from sysex librarian (mac OS) b) save any new patches that I have manually made in the midibox is there some step I am missing for the midibox to receive sysex data? I have set sysex librarian to send at the correct interval. is there something wrong in that there is no Save menu on my LCD? All the other menu options are there. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Leonard Charles
