  1. Horray!!! ...and a silent `oh nooo` I did infact allready search the Matias switches and came up with the same conclusion... hard to source indeed. "Sourcing is part of the necessary pain that makes the gear a part of you" as Lao Tze once said... Hope this does´nt put of too many people from the build. Any group buys in the air? I´m from Germany too so any hints where to look would be great. Thanks again for your efforts guys. can´t wait to start the build!
  2. I found some DIY trigger to midi modules on modulargrid and i am still searching for some CV converters. Actually i want to record some kind of stepped events so i can jam and later put it into studio workflow. also some cv for accent and recording some wild modulate pitches from my ssg module from serge :) sometimes there are bits and pieces i would love to integrate into my control.
  3. Hello there! I want to build the Seq v4+ with the new frontpanel when it´s ready to go. I´m kind of an analog guy who sometimes even plays in Clubs. The Midicontroller allways was the bottleneck. My PC and the Beatstep allways let me down on one or the other part so i had a look around and found you guys! Great work by this community and TK! Either i build a Seq v4+ or go for the Cirklon... well I go for the Seq ofcourse. The thing is this. I want to record CV as well. So if I´m jamming in the Studio and my clock modulators or anything else spits out something wicked, I would love to record it in Midi. Didn´t find a AIN Board anywhere. Is there no need? Or is there any other obstacle in the way of my Seq becoming my center of everything? with best regards AM

  5. Any news on the progress yet? when will the new PCB´s be ready? So excited :)
  6. It´s the standart Doepfer Rails i think. Only one manufaturer of these Rails in Austria i believe (i might be wrong). Space is 111,5 mm ofcourse as a die hard DIY Fan I did infact build my case all by myself. I have a design somewhere of a foldable Buchlastyle Case so i could just add some extra space for the PCB in on row... I try to find it and if someone wants it i`ll send over the pdf. It´s 1:1 only the sidepanels so if needed (as in my case) some extra HP can be added. Yes that´s a very nice idea. perhaps a good point for a second design for eurorack panels? I think this splendid community is drastically overlocked so a `port` migth give it an extra boost. but i don´t want to derail this thread any further. I can´t wait for the PCB´s to be released! Thanks alot!
  7. eptheca your absolutley right. I just measured it... didn´t thougth about the rails.
  8. Hi. This is my first post here. I want to thank you guys for such terrific work and as a designer i want to congratulate you how the process over the last years has developed to something even better then most of the pros come up with. I want to point out that the mentioned heights of the new modular PCB seems to be 124 mm by now. For all those considering Eurorack it would mean it´s doable. The 3U measures as 133,33 mm so there is plenty of space left. MIDI and CV panel has to be placed on the front to the side(s) but it would be the common design there. Length of 84 HP is not the absolute standart. The mounting Rails can be ordered from several shops for the size of up to 1m. Just something to pint out :) great work guys!
