Hi all. Forgive me if this is the wrong board to post in. I've been on a long, long journey searching for something that as far as I know, doesn't exist. I think here might be some minds that can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a simple (just knobs and faders, really!) MIDI controller that is capable of motion control/automation. That is, you hit "record" - move a knob - it plays back the motion you just recorded. If this could be snapped in time to a clock as well... wow... that would be the dream. Avenues I've explored... Bitstream 3x - not possible I don't think, it has some limited automation but it's far too clunky to use. I emailed nearly every controller supplier I can think of! Some pseudocode I've written. Tried to contact someone that can write an alternative firmware for TouchOSC Clever incorporation of MIDI loopers (not possible sadly). If the MIDIBOX firmware can do it, maybe it's possible to incorporate with an existing controller such as the PC12 by faderfox, or the classic BCR, or anything really. Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm up to it, but I realise it's ultimately not a terribly complex task to complete. Maybe someone here knows of a similar project, or has some words of wisdom...?
