  1. Hello How do you save your SeqV4 songs within your daw project ? Is it possible to request the song data via sysex request over the usb cable ? Would be nice to create a vsti which has a song request and send button to have daw and SeqV4 data all in one. Greets Moroe
  2. How do the 32 predefined chords get in the SeqV4 ? Are they coded in the OS ? Maybe i could write my own chords in the OS ? A option to record own chords and save them would be fine for the future. Or a txt file where i can load the chords in some format into SEQV4. Just a few thoughts Moroe
  3. Cool. When has this changed ? I thought that in older Versions the possible amount of notes were only 4 per chord. Can i add my own chords to the predefined list with a bit of hacking ?
  4. Hello I do a lot of jazzy Deep House and Detroit Techno and would need 6 or sometimes 7 notes per chord. Would this be possible in the future with a better chip or more ram ? Greets Moroe
  5. Hello Elektron´s Octatrack has a compactflash card to store the samples. Because big CF Card are expensive and do not have 200gb+ of storage i would like to replace the Compactflash Card with a IDE Harddisk. It seems that Compactflash Cards use the IDE standard. Would it possible to use a IDE to CF adapter (but the other way round) to connect a HDD to the Octatrack ? Maybe with such a adapter: http://www.pcengines.ch/cflash.htm I would need to create some sort of gender changer to connect the adapter to the CF slot of the Octatrack. Greets Moroe
  6. Hello Is it possible to do a usb to midi converter ? There appearing more and more synths which have usb and dont have a midi out port (only midi in) The problem is that i wanna send sysex dumps to other midi gear from these synths (waldorf blofeld,...) WITHOUT a computer. I also would like to get a small Akai LPK25 Keyboard (also with usb only) and connect it as a second keyboard to my hardware. Greets Moroe
  7. Hello Is it possible to get a silver aluminium case with this bulkorder ? Like the prototype from TK. Greets Moroe
  8. Hello Thorsten  This is really amazing !!!! I have dreamed about this for years !! How will the 16x16blm and the SeqV4 work together ? Is it possible to use the knobs of the SeqV4 to adjust velocity , note length,....... of the 16x16blm ? Greets Moroe
  9. Hello Are there some news about the implementation of the synth preset recording and sending feature ? Here some ideas and wishes: I would like to use single preset dumps and multi dumps. Each synth should have a dedicated preset dump folder with a single and a multi folder in it. If possible also Subdirectories for Soundcategories would be usful (pad,lead,bass...) Possibility to assign a preset dump folder to a track and its corresponding midi in and output. I also would like to send preset dump request messages to the synths, because some synths doesnt have a option to send dumps from the hardware manually (like the yamaha tx81z!!!!!). The dump request message could be placed in a txt file which lies in the single and multi folder. When pushing a button on the seqv4, the seqv4 should send a dump request to the synth. After the dump request was sent, the seqv4 should record incoming dumps. Then switch to the next synth and do it again. I would like to choose a preset in a folder and then use forward backward buttons to send them to the synth without to push an extra button (like the forward and backward buttons on a synth) If possible, during the sequencer is running. Possibility to save all used synth presets with the whole project/song. I know this will not be easy but it would be a complete set of features to work without computer. Greets Moroe

  11. Hi Thorsten Thx for reply Do you have already tried to implement the synthesizer preset send and receive option ? Greets Moroe
  12. hello how will songmode organize the patterns ? is there a graphical display to see at which time which pattern is located ? something like this: songposition 01 02 03 04 : 05 06 07 08 : 09 10 11 12 : 13 14 15 16 pattern 01 01 01 01 : 23 23 23 23 : 15 15 15 15 : 24 24 24 24 and please please some news about progress of the seq v4 :) greets moroe
  13. wow this was fast great job greets moroe
  14. yeah it must be enhanced with seqv4 features it should only show how a 16x16 button/led matrix for the seqv4 should work greets moroe
  15. here is a tenorion like flash based sequencer which shows what i wanna have: http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix damn would that be awesome :o greets moroe
  16. hi just another idea: would it be possible to link two MBHP_CORE_STM32 together ? this would be a solution to get 32 tracks. i know the new drumtrack concept, but i wanna give each drum a seperate track because of the ability to mute each drum instrument with a button. the only problem is that both cores have to share the same displays, knobs and buttons. we could switch between the two cores with a dedicated button i would also like to use the midi ins and outs of the second MBHP_CORE_STM32 so no routing of midi data to the first core is needed greets moroe
  17. another idea: simple controler automation in song mode to let a filter sweep over 4 patterns: just enter start position where the controler should start to raise and end position where controler should stop raising. there has also to be a option to define from which value the controler should start raising and at which value he shold stop. something like "controler 74, songpositionstart 4,atvalue 30//songpositionstop 8, atvalue 115" maybe also a option to thin out controler data. greets moroe
  18. thx tk good to hear :) greets moroe
  19. is this the same with other mergers like the "midi solutions" merge box or "kenton" midi merge or "motu" midi timepiece ? or is this a midibox merger only behavior because of weak processing power ? greets moroe
  20. Hello I am planning to do Midibox64 controllers for each of my Synths (Virus C, Yamaha Fs1r,Waldorf Microwave Xt, Yamaha TX81z, Yamaha An1x,Yamaha An200,Roland V-Synth XT. How good is the quality of the midi merger from the Midibox 64 ? I wanna send midi notes and controlers from my sequencer through the midi merger and then the sysex commands from the Midibox itself to a synth. Is there a problem or do i get dropouts maybe ?? Greets moroe
  21. Hello Thorsten If each song would have a different ID (maybe the name of the song) then let the seqv4 export this ID as sysex message to the triton extreme. So i can store this ID with all my samples on the triton extreme and recall the whole project later. This would be some sort of song change message. When i send the ID from the triton extreme to the seqv4 , he has to load the song which is bound to the ID. If the seqv4 can use a big sd card it would never be necessary to backup all the songs and they will be always ready to be recalled. Greets Moroe
  22. Hi stryd You can steal any idea of me :) Do you have a modified seqv3 ? Any screenshots or documentation about this mod would be nice. Greets Moroe
  23. Hello I am just dreaming away, but maybe one day it will be possible to have such a layout :D 4 rows of 16 rotary encoders, first 3 fixed layers, last switchable layer a 16x16 led push button matrix which can be used in different ways: 1) each row is a track 2) piano roll for selected track 3) first 8 rows represent the 128 steps of a pattern 4) pattern switches for live jamming Here is a photoshopped pic:
  24. hello thorsten 1) i dont need led rings and the whole Midibox64ev2 if i can add additional 32 encoders and 16 buttons to the seqv4 core module :) these are really great news !!!!! the displays of the MBSeqV4 have to jump to the velocity page if i move one of the additional velocity encoders (as example) 2) my goal is to save all sound and sequencer data of my hardware to one hardware piece and working without computer. storing all data on my triton extreme is one solution. but if you really can manage that the seqv4 can request, send and store all sound data as a whole project file, it would be no problem to skip the sysex export, because the triton extreme or later my m3 can send its data per sysex to the seqv4. impatient greets :) moroe
  25. And please keep the feature that the MBSeq can export its patterns and songs per sysex. I would like to send them to my Triton Extreme and save them there. Regards Andre
