I'm thinking these motorfaders will work. It looks like they run off 5v. I think it will just be a matter of finding the pinout. Any other thoughts??

I have all parts ready for my motormix emulation except for motorfaders. I was wondering what do I need to do to get my encoders working for fader control. Could someone help, I am not a programmer.

The way Mackie control is running with pro tools is via the HUI protocol which we cannot get. I will work on checking the sysex string Thorston.

Warning, Warning. I have built the motormix emulator. I still have not gotten my motorfaders. All works well except with pro tools. The LCD display does not work with pro tools, it seems as though there is i slightly different protocol for pro tools. So far everything else works!!!!

Great what do you control with it, and how did you make that case???????

I would think that you are correct. It can be connected to j2, but you must be sure polarity is right. I would go with j1. -

no the voltage regulator runs fine when using smaller voltage. Say 9vdc. But when I use my 16vac to power the core and the SID is when I run into problems with the regulator getting hot.

I jave some pots laying around that I would like to put to use. How can I use these pots with the current SID CS. I don't see a table in which I may use them in the code. Some help would be appreciated.

I am using a 16vac power adaptor with my MBSID. The sid voltage regulator is fine, but the core is getting hot. Should I use a circuit with a 7809 to step down the power before going into the 7805, or should I just heatsink the 05 and let it be????
