  1. Also this would be useful for me when using the algorithmic function, direction and length changes, gets even crazier when you start to use the busses to modulate these parameters sometimes too crazy and its nice to take chunks of that output and assemble in to more usable patterns.
  2. This is a feature I have really wanted. I have even used another sequencer to dub down tracks like this. I did request this at one time but I can't remember what came of it. Maybe with enough requests we can nudge TK into looking into this again. Luke

    Lemur BLM

Interesting, this is working perfect for me with the Camera Connection Kit. Barely any setup at all when I plug the sequencer directly into the ipad. Select a port in the lemur setup and assign a port to the blm in sequencer and its working. Was working fine for me over wifi with lemur daemon as well but I havent tried that in while. Ill check it when i have more time. I'm using an ipad air with the lastes ios and lemur. Luke
  4. I am using patterns too, but I limit one 'track' per session. I use an octatrack to sample a loop (transition trick), then switch sessions on the mbseq and multi's on any gear being sequenced. Then I can work the parts from the new track into the loop I have going on the OT. That being said I am always trying new workflows with the mbseq. There is a lot of depth and many ways to structure things. I recommend trying anything and everything you can come up with. The amount of variation you can get on a pattern with the direction page alone is mind blowing. It's endless.
  5. Are you slaving the sequencer to something else? If that is the case, then this is a really awesome feature the mb has. If the sequencer is slaving and you hit stop, then hit start again it will start up on the next bar and be in time with the master. This lets you stop it and restart without resetting your master clock. Luke
  6. You are going to love it. Everything about it rules. Ive been using mine for a few years now and everyday I love it more. No other seq Ive used even comes close.
  7. As far as I know you can not change this from the panel, but don't worry. You don't need to compile or anything like that. If you remove your sd card and put it in a computer you will find a file in the root called MBSEQ_HW.V4 Right around line 14 you should see MIDI_REMOTE_KEY Make sure that is set to 0, put the sd card back in your seq and restart it if its still on. Enjoy, Luke
  8. I used machined single row sockets and they worked great. I think I might have even got them in Wilbas original kit.
  9. I recommend using sockets for all of the led resistors, besides the multicolor led's. I had to mix and match to get my led's to all be similar in brightness. I believe Wilba mentions this in his build guide.
  10. I did this same thing. Pain in the butt, but follow Latigid's advice and you should be ok. You definitely want them soldered to the back of the board.
  11. Excellent that made the setting take. Ill let you know how it works out. Thanks! Luke
  12. Issue is it will not let me turn DHCP on. it just flashes the notification and it stays off. LUke
  13. So when I try to turn DHCP on i get this notification: "MBHP_ETH not connected" I am running an LPC17 core and have it fully populated. I have the jumper wires connected and when it boots I see one red flash. Seem like a hardware issue? Thanks, Luke
  14. Absolutely. Ill turn it on and let you know if I see the issue again. thanks, Luke

  16. So lately my sequencer has been crashing very intermittently and I can not reliably reproduce it. Every once in a while Ill be editing the port on a track and I will hit OSC4 and the machine will freeze, and nothing will fix it except a reboot. No error message. I can not make this happen when I try to reproduce. I have no ethernet cable hooked up. Also I am not positive that it is just OSC4 that causes or just a coincidence. I have no idea if its hardware or not. Any ideas where I can start? Thanks, Luke
  17. Attached a photo of my sequencer. Still not exactly sure how I am going to attach the jacks. I know the trigger outs need a 3.3v - 5v level shifter to trigger eurorack and most modulars. Can't remember if the gates need that too. There is some info on that here: http://ucapps.de/midibox_seq_manual_hw.html Shawn is a good friend of mine. He actually gave me that casio midi splitter you can see in the pic. Shawn and I have played together a bunch. Here is a tune we did together. http://goo.gl/OJTBY1 Luke
  18. I have incorporated 1/8" jacks into my seq4 panel for 8x cv, 8x gate, and 8x trigger. I am actively in the process of wiring it all up and creating a level shifter for the gates.
  19. Ha amazing. This thing is my favorite piece of gear ever. No question. Thanks!
  20. This sounds really fun, would a toggle for either scenario be possible? Otherwise I would think option 1 would be more flexible.
  21. Thanks! This works great. Would it be just as easy to add select+clear to clear the current layer? Not nearly as important as pasting. Thanks again, Luke
  22. Oh man thats great news! SELECT+PASTE works perfect for me. This is one small thing that would make things much easier for me. Thanks! Luke Also the auto-mapping cc's in live record is just as awesome as I had hoped. Been waiting for that one. Thank you.
  23. Is it currently possible to copy/paste a single layer of a track? If not is this feasible? Use case, create a melody, span it across multiple patterns. change the melody across patterns. then add some cc modulation to one pattern, I want to copy just that cc layer to all of the different patterns without screwing up my melody changes. Thanks, Luke
  24. Thanks TK this fixed my issue, seems to be connecting fine now!
