  1. Troubleshooting midiphy SEQ v4+

Ahhh! I should have read the thread I see Karg just had the same problem! Looks like I have the wrong part too. thanks all.   Update, and of course it all works perfectly!
  2. Troubleshooting midiphy SEQ v4+

Hey guys having some issues with my jog wheel module. I think my core is ok, I can load programs and scripts and connect without issue. I'm trying to test the jog wheel module and getting crazy results. After loading the seq_l script no buttons work and all LED's light up. when i touch the back of the PCB everything goes crazy. tons of input to MIOS studio and random LED's lighting up. I check each led orientation as well as the diodes and other parts. I reflowed everything with the exact same behavior. All of my parts came from the Mouser list I imported on the Midiphy site. thanks, Luke

Thanks for the quick responses! Ill stick with the iron for the superflux, I've had my air set to about 300 degrees, does that seem about right?   Luke
  4. Troubleshooting midiphy SEQ v4+

Hello Everyone, I've decided to try a hot air station for my v4+ build. So far so good. My question is, is it safe to use hot air on the superflux leds? Should I just use an iron for those? thanks, Luke
  5. midiphy SEQ v4+

Nice can you post a pic?
  6. Hello, Is it possible to interact with MIOS Studio in a 'headless' manner? I am working on a Max for Live patch to create presets for the MBSeq based on the configuration of an Ableton Live Drum Rack. I would like to write the file directly to the MBSeq file system if possible. If not is it feasible? Is there a better approach I could be taking? Thanks!   Luke

  21. MPC style Note Repeat Function

Thanks TK, excited to try this out.
  22. MPC style Note Repeat Function

I can see the technical issues here, but honestly the best part of note repeat on an mpc is the ability to switch the resolution on the fly to create rolls. I can't see how you could do that the way its implemented now. Could we maybe get the ability to assign the patterns to a cc so we could switch them with a controller?
  23. MPC style Note Repeat Function

Haven't had a chance to try this out yet, but I was wondering if the ability to have easy access to the resolutions 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, etc made it in, thats pretty essential to building rolls on an mpc.   thanks,    Luke
  24. MPC style Note Repeat Function

Woo I would love to see this!
  25. New Crop of Sequencers... What do you Think?

http://www.squarp.net/index.html looks pretty cool. Lots of features the MBSeq has. The euclidian display looks pretty sweet.    Every time I see a cool new sequencer feature my first thoughts are: I wonder when TK will implement that?
