  1. Hi Wilba, Many thanks for realizing the project and the pcb's , spot on job!!! And special thanks to Nebula for coordinating the encoders and shipping logistics. Best regards, RM45
  2. Hi Guys, Thanks for the SD Card solutions, but it is pretty difficult to mount the SD card horizontally to the front panel. I did a little research and this is what I found. http://www.gadgetgangster.com/find-a-project/56?projectnum=158 This will allow you to use 90 degree metal hinges, you can shear off the extra pcb material. Regards, RM
  3. Hi Wilba, Nice to see that you willing to do a small run to help people. You passed me your fpd file and I have finalized my panel. A couple of friends and I want to make a few of these. How people do you have to so far? we are willing to get 5 sets, if that helps please let me know. I can prepay to ease the cash outlay, many thanks for all your work. Has there been a layout designed for the V4 core board, yet? It might help to have the mounting holes laid out on the pcb's for the future build. Regards, R.
  4. Hi Thorsten, Got my envelope, thanks. Regards, R.
  5. Hi Wilba, Great work for the pcb. I am interested 3 or 4 pcb's. I would like to put it behind a 17" by 7" panel. Would be possible to get front panel file so I adjust to my panel? I will be using schaeffer, many thanks. Regards, RM
  6. Hi Ultra, As requested via email, I have sent payment via paypal today for 6 boards, thanks. Regards, R.
  7. Hi Guys, I am layout a pcb for the FM MIDIbox. I want to able to trigger the drum sounds and control the related frequencies via Control Voltage and Analog Gate Inputs. Is the AIN module and the DIN module the proper to go? Many thanks in advance. Regards, RM45
  8. Hi Thorsten, Thanks for the info. I thought of using an electronic switch, like The DG409, with a hardwired switch to the front panel to toggle between the two. I am building a motherboard to house the MB Seq and the MB 808 in one interface. I will add the 2 x 16 display to the front panel design. Are there any other encoders or buttons needed for this display which should be added to help with navigation? I am thinking of doing the Duo LED option like your expander box. Regards, RM45
  9. Hi Thorsten, I really thrilled about this possible feature. I have to ask a question about the new platform. Will it be possible to run mb seq v3 and the mb 808 from the same hardware? I mean a switch to use the mb seq and mb 808 from the same hardware surface but from two different core sets. this would consolidate 2 interfaces into 1 for me. Regards, Rm45
  10. Hi Smash, I emailed you for 8 parts kits, maybe it got lost in the shuffle. Thanks for undertaking the parts kit. Please send me an email or message when you ready, thanks. Regards, RM45
  11. Here are a few ideas I would like to throw around. I am sure everyone knows someone who knows someone who does silkscreening. 1) Would it be possible to have the file available in this topic for those who have the ability to silkscreen to do their own. 2) maybe someone could do a screen for North America, europe etc. Looking forward to correcting the issue without prejudice. Regards, Ringer
  12. Hi Guys, Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I have discovered that they also have a serial AT conection available. Here are the url's http://www.ikey.com/ProductsList/?menu=4 model number KYB-42-KIOSK and SL-75-OEM One caveat, the keyboard is pricey, may be a group buy could bring the price down. I am very finnicky about the layout and presentation of the module so it can match the other existing modules of my modular synth. I appreciate the old school look of the c64 case, but I very partial to modifications that look cut out or sawed out, hence the reason I went with wilba's boards and Altitude909's panelsfor MidiBox Sid. I think SL 75 keyboard with illuminated keys would be rather dashing, plus the depth and size of the module makes it very easy to mount to the panel and leaves enough depth to put the pcb behind, and reduce mounting holes on the front pant panel. I am not well versed with the software side of things, but plan on making a pcb for myself so it matches the footprint holes the sl 75 to piggy back the Core boards, the bankstick, the c64 keyboard pcb and tthe speakjet board. I am almost fininshed doing the board. I will put a jpeg up when I am done. I would like to share the board with the midibox community. Is there an FAQ about this? If I were to make boards for other members, like the MB6582 project, I would like to do it respectfully and avoid a complication like the dude knocking off the sid project on Evilbay. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance for all the background work you have done to make this a wonderful community and project, KUDOS !!! KUDOS Best Regards, R.
  13. Hi Rio, Great work!!! I have heard the samples and I plan on doing the speak jet module. I want to house the pcb behind a front panel for my modular synth. I want to use an oem keyboard, however, it outputs via usb or ps/2. the tech. docs are on the web are very limited. My question is, will I be able to use this keyboard? Are there ways around this, since I can't see if there are analogue outputs? Regards, R
  14. Since you need to know, we are 4 SID freaks who plan to build Wilba's wonderful design. One envelope instead of 4, kinda like Car-Pooling. ;) Cheers, RM
  15. Hi Wilba, Congrats and Kudos on your fine design. Count me in for 4 sets. What are the actual dimensions of the boards and a rough estimate of the price? Thanks. Regards, RM
