  9. You should at least connect your AIN Modules. With no AIN Modules, the Analog Input of the Core Module is floating and therefore showing random numbers.
  10. A bridge rectifier is basically made of 4 diodes. you should check them with a multimeter for continuity and stuff like that.
  11. Beware of anything from China with a rubber grip. It's very likely that they contain PAHs. They are pretty dangerous. (and can lower your IQ according to Wikipedia. But me assuming wikipedia right being.) If it smells, throw it away or wrap something around so there's no skin-contact. I really like my Weller WHS40 (the analog one.   12. possible? sure. If you're using only high-grade pots and other expensive parts. If you're willing, you can spend a *lot* of money on your midibox. likely? not really. As I said, you can choose which components and materials you want to use. I've spent about 60€ on my midibox: but there are no real limits in how small or how big you want to make it.   16. Because if you mix the beryllium with some americium (you can scratch that from a smoke-detector), you can make your own neutron source. which is pretty awesome IMHO.
  17. Distilled water will not damage the electronics in the Keyboard. It will not harm the circuits, because it doesn't conduct electricity. It's the same with this modded PC, whose mainboard is under oil: http://modbros.de/03c19898dc0a4ae01/index.html And when it dries, there won't be any salts left on the PCB, because there are no ions in distilled water. So, electrically, you're on the safe side for sure. The thing I'm concerned about is, that iron parts might start to rust if it doesn't dry fast enough. I know nor which materials are in a SY99, neither how expensive such a keyboard is. Do this at your own risk.
  18. Actually distilled water will work. I've once heard of a guy (cimo?) who spilled soda over his macbook and got it back to life with washing it out in distilled water. Just make sure it is really dry afterwards.
