one could battle transient smearing though somehow! I too have a few of these mn3004 chips 512 stage BBD. Made me think about the transient issue on percussive stuff, VCA-s should work IMHO, I think I go modular :P

to my limited knowledge (Ircwars 10 years ago) all you need is a sock proxy set up in your irc client. I don know such, but ppl use it to make themselves funny hosts.

yeah, dont forget older IC's are made with bigger geometry too LOL (for real I could use some ceramic 5534s...)

Controlling Ableton: APC40, Max for Live - what do you think?
Ashiman replied to Melonenmonster's topic in MIDIbox HUIs
well , if someone could customise Ableton to the level of fruityloops8 (dont laugh its pretty good at what it does) I'd surely look into this. What I use now is adding/subtracting/ doing math with multiple LFO's with nice visual feedback under midi control (i also use this module to mix LFOs) : http://flstudio.image-line.com/help/html/plugins/Fruity%20Formula%20Controller.htm Curve fitting envelope under midi control: http://flstudio.image-line.com/help/html/plugins/Fruity%20Envelope%20Controller.htm -are these possible (i really duno) ??? -anyone knows of a state-of-art LFO module for maxmsp? (I tried hard to find, 2hours in it so far) individual control over 32 step (time offset, swing %, velo etc) would be hell-a-tight... -

there supposed to be analog filters that arent anti aliasing righT?
-
well , even if you turn the resonance up , it thins out the bass! thats the problem. http://www.synthtech.com/motm440.html neither i am fan of the squelchy 303, but i imagine it can bite if you sync KB to cutoff.
-
hope you dont want to compensate for the bass loss with an added sub-osc as that third LOL! Really, the motm 2040 filter has some rumble mode to make this, I think Jürgen Haible developed it maybe he can tell us more?
-
there are some pin compatible that1200 's on ebay for cheap
-
hey, I'd myself pursue an osc+filter+vca combo. also an another vca to compensate for bass loss somehow. :)
-
yeah but go for the full game & play it ( pst pst: romnation.net )

Hello, is there someone using the MB FM to replicate R-type soundtrack? It'd be cool as hell, hell I'd even pay if you have an album (plus midi files lol) :P

Inside a £15,000 Rhode & Schwartz UPV Audio Analyzer.
Ashiman replied to Artesia's topic in Miscellaneous
audio precision also has 5534, no probs, 20k usd german Mbl (?) preamp has 5534+ad797 as well , apparently you can trim distortion out and there s a trick of bypassing input output stage of 5534, looks fun. -
an advice - i think the nl 2x has so called 24bit/96khz digital to analog converter and thats not definately better than the oldgen r2r nl1 - nl2 ( imho definately not, for numerous reasons ) looky : estimated value / Gebrauchtwert 2000 € (ultra rare) not quite my cup of tea lol
-
yo , thanx for linking this one

i think it was the propane-butane that blew up , as used for some kind of cleansing(?) process . The guy surely cleansed himself out , LULZ .

MAX5763: 32-Channel, 16-Bit, Voltage-Output DACs with Serial Interface
Ashiman replied to Peake's topic in Design Concepts
:) , look , no reason to use pcm54 or other mono dac , when you have 8-16-32 channel V-out DAC on the table. PCM54 is rather cool for audio, lets use it that way :)
