so leute, nach einer kleinen pause im april geht´s jetzt wieder an´s eingemachte: am 15.05.2008 findet der 6. 19-zoll-stammtisch statt. fragen zu chirurgischen eingriffen in schaltkreise, schönheitsoperationen am gehäuse, oder bionischen erweiterungen zur steigerung der ausdruckskraft? oder vielleicht doch lieber mit gleichgesinnten in gemütlicher runde ein bier schlürfen? dann nix wie hin ;) wie immer: wer ein instrument mitbringen will (gerne selbstgebaut oder modifiziert) soll dies tun. weitere infos bald auf: http://www.mdz.de http://www.myspace.com/19zollstammtisch

hey jeffrey, ich besorg mir mein alu immer bei lichtbogen. das ist ne metallwerkstatt im erkelenzdamm/kreuzberg. muß meistens bestellt werden, das geht aber recht flott, und die schneiden dir das in alle formate, die du möchtest. ich hol da zwar immer nur alu natur, aber eloxiert sollte kein problem sein. das letzte mal hab ich für 2qm alu natur in 1,5mm 27 euro bezahlt, und jeder schnitt kostet 1 euro... viele grüße, tobias. ps: kommst du im mai mal zum stammtisch?

hm, also, ich muß sagen, ich habe bestimmt im laufe der jahre gut und gerne 50 c64 ihrer sid´s beraubt, und nur 2 oder 3 davon waren nicht mehr voll funktionsfähig (defekte filter/oszis). ansonsten bin ich mit den sids auch nicht immer pfleglich umgegangen, anfassen, rumwerfen, löten etc..., und noch nie ist einer kaputt gegangen. generell isses natürlich angebracht, mit jedwedem chip sorgsam umzugehen. als ich angefangen habe mit elektro gebastel hab ich jeden chip nur mit plastikpinzette gegriffen... das mache ich mittlerweile nur noch mit cmos chips. was ich damit sagen will: wenn diese alten chips bis jetzt überlebt haben, warum sollten sie jetzt durch ein bißchen gewackel und rumgeschubse plötzlich kaputt gehen? gruß, tobias

@dj3nk: check pm no, i can´t offer full sets of rare parts, i just have some spare, and not enough of all to make complete kits. i´d really like to swap them for other parts, or, if someone really has problems to get a specific part, to sell the one or other if needed. some guys envolved here already bought some parts with the intention to distribute them with the boards. that´s the first way to go. all of the people involved who try to source the parts for themselves and don´t want to join a group order for rare parts might have trouble finding the one or other part, so that´s the point where my offer comes in... so, let´s wait and see what parts are already "in stock", then we´ll see... best wishes, tobias

@mike i´d be in a bulk order for the grayhill switches, encoders, pots, and resonators. all other components i already have here, some of them in quantities that allow me to swap or sell to people who can´t get those.. parts i have some spares from: an6562 ba6110 2sc2291 2sc1583 some 2sa733p (high hfe) few 2sa733a some 2sk30a-o some 2sk30a-y several capacitor values (xicon greenies) the ft232 is available at segor.de for 5.80€, at quantity of 10 it costs 4.76€ how much does it cost at rsonline? maybe it´s cheaper to get them at segor, what i could arrange, because i´m there quite often, which would save us postage for one way... best wishes, tobias
