I know taht this is not supported by TK, but had somebody made midiboxFM with these displays? I dont know how to compile it. My programming skills are low. I would like to learn so please some links how to get it work...

I have seen it in action with MIDI but in all cases with Atmel chips. Maybe you should take look at www.monome.org There are more information about it. I was searching for alternative USB module. The AN2131 is not available in our counry and delivery cost much more money as circuit... Can this one be used in aplications? it uses chip FT232BM http://www.ladyada.net/techproj/USB232/ Can anybody make a module with this chip?
