  1. Haha! Yeah, I receive a steady flow of those from my mate Ben.
  2. Cheers guys. No one can argue with "NICE LEAD", eh ;-) Classic patch
  3. I thought he was just curious. Didn't realize I was being "interviewed"... http://www.asianmandan.com/blog/2009/07/we-are-standard-x-dubka/
  4. "Frustrating" doesn't begin to describe this one. And I'm based in London, UK so ordering another bag seems ridiculous... I'm only after 12 yellow and 12 green. I figure if I find the right spec I could just pick some up at maplin. So close to finishing as well. Gutted...
  5. Ha! That's not necessary... I just forgot
  6. You see - it was exactly that type of "idiot-proof" explanation I was looking for. My forgetting that the lcd was mounted on the bottom of the pcb was the low point of this thread for me :-P Cheers Wilba
  7. How do you hold them in place to solder? Don't really understand the reasoning here - I wouldn't have thought clearance on the top side of the lcd was an issue...?
  8. I'm allowed to do that?! One thing I would definitely update is the "optional" on the transistors. Anyway, do you mean to solder the lcd leads on the panel side? Or to solder the switches on the base side? Sorry for the possibly obvious questions but this stuff is too expensive for me to just guess.
  9. Is it just my build or is the lcd set quite far back from the front panel, leaving a noticeable "hole"? And the cs switches are making direct contact with the pads on the lcd. Am I doing something wrong? Also, what sort of screws are you using to fix the lcd to cs pcb? I've found everything about the MB-6582 quite well documented, except fitting the lcd. Cheers, Martin
  10. Just the answer I was looking for. Cheers mate. Back to the bench....
  11. I have them... shall I just solder them in? What difference would it make if I didn't?
  12. Thanks guys. I wish I was able to hack the firmware but I am just a humble musician. A standalone midibox arpeggiator would be great though, eh. Something like the MAM map1. Anyone...? Anyone...? ;-)
