  1. Ooh, just came to ask a similar question and wonder if this ever got developed further? (As in saves with tracks in a more recent version than I perhaps have) Amazing sequencer btw, thanks!
  2. Thanks Thorsten, I'll keep an eye out... Have to say I find the encoder changes make the interface so much better for me, thanks!
  3. My initial impressions are that this is loads better than before- Very nicely done indeed! :) Not to pester but Just wondering if you also added this option to that firmware build? (just in case I missed it!)
  4. Embarrassing admition time: I havent test this out yet as Ive no real clue what Im doing in terms of uploading the firmwares to the MB6582. If anyone knows of a link/thread that might help me out here please post in this thread. Sorry!
  5. I'll have a go at getting this on on the weekend...
  6. That's fantastic, thanks muchly Thorsten! I'll look into doing some speed tests once back with the SID next week- in theory anything that does the full range in a single turn is what I'd like, though others who have tested may find something that works better, in which case I will bow to their superior judgement! Thanks again for this, great stuff indeed!
  7. I don't know if you caught my post on this or would consider it an improvement but how do you feel about removing the 'non destructive' external CC thing- ie you can save changes after externally tweaking CC's. Thanks for looking at the encoder speed btw- I think the new approach (shift for slower) will be much more useable.
  8. I can see the logic in those situations, though I think it would have been better implemented if say velocity, pitch bend and mod wheel weren't saved and everything else was- I can't see the bonus in being able to control everything but not save it. That said it isn't the end of the world. I've still not tried the encoder thing- realistically wont get round to it for a while.
  9. Keen to know if this workaround works too- would like to inverse my shift functionality!
  10. The encoder speed is one of the reasons yes- Ill see if I can find the code change and will have a crack at it at some point. Really though I could do with finding a hack for that non destructive CC thing- I cant for the life of me understand why that would be useful!
  11. Be interested to know if there is any way around that 'feature'. Perhaps I'll have to look into the shift hack- I'm not a fan of the two button filter sweep.
  12. So I was trying out piping in an external MIDI controller this morning to some success. However whatever changes I made to the patch I was working on were unable to be saved- ie when I reloaded the patch none of the programming was stored. Am I missing something or is this not possible?
