  1. hello all, could anyone please help me with the breakout box for my seqv4+? after first testing the AOUT NG is working fine but i don't get any gates/clocks/triggers from the DOUT. in the hwcfg i have enabled SR 3 for gates, 4 for clock signals, and 5-6 for drum triggers also the setting for the 1ms pulses is enabled. when shift register nr4 is enabled all the leds on the left LEMEC board lighting up so i'm guesing it's maybe the wrong shift register. thanks
  2. @Smithy thanks for the info, but i don't use facebook anymore.. :) need to check the forum more often.
  3. wasn't aware there is an expansion for eurorack in the planning. damn, just ordered the panel for my aout ng + dout. :)
  4. hi, I would recommend to desolder the pins one by one and cleaning the soldering joints afterwards with the desoldering pump. just heat them up and use tweezers to pull them off.
  5. thanks a lot. got it now :) I'm gonna take the power out of my eurorack.
  6. thanks a lot for your answer. I haven't understood the power supply yet. where should i connect the +5V power supply for the LINERX module, and do i need another power supply for the AOUTNG module? thank you!
  7. hi all, don't know if this is the right place. i have finally finished the AOUT NG and DOUT board to add some cv/gate/trigger to my seq v4+. I'm a little confused about the interconnections and jumper settings of the pcbs. inside of the sequencer i have the LINETX connected to the core like shown in the video but since the pcbs are a new revision and the J-headers are named differently then on the LINERX/TX-page i'am afraid of damaging something.. basicly i would like to do the following: - could anyone please help me on how to do the connections and setup the jumpers? -is it necessary to use an additional power supply when using 0-5v only? -what is the pinout of the AOUT port of the LINERX? many thanks rbv2
  8. hi, was quite easy with a lot of solder and lifting the sides one by one. I used some tweezers and a bigger tip on the soldering iron. Just be patient and wait until enough heat and solder is applied. i even reused the isolated resistor network afterwards. you will need desoldering braid to clean the pads otherwise the new part will not sit flat enough to reach the pads. good luck
  9. indeed :) after making a lot of presets and labels for my synths and drummachines i can say that would be great. unfortunately i cant find an option for labeling tracks defined for drums. btw. the new behaviour of the selection buttons is great. thanks
  10. thank you. ..and funny timing right in the moment your message came in i stumbled over the function. :D
  11. hi all, is there a possibility to see the name of the choosen preset in a track when in edit mode? for example on the dot matrix or the oled? i have different devices in each track which sometime confuses me when using different setups. thank you
  12. Thank you so much for the quick correction.
  13. hi @TK. happy new year :) I've noticed that the new option is causing a problem. when enabled it freezes the bars after the first one so you can't edit any more note values. greetings rbv2
  14. wow.. I installed it right away. It works perfectly. thank you so much!
  15. @Hawkeye Thanks for your answer. i can definitely say that at least i would love this feature :) (but I have no idea about the programming effort or the logic behind it) the best way for me to do it would be this: if you are in step mode and press the all button, you can switch between the meassures with the keys of the lower row anyway and select the steps to be changed by the all-function with the keys of the upper row. if now when switching to the second bar the upper row also retains this function it would be perfect. this way the original application would simply extend to several bars. so you could simply deselect the second measure or single notes. but a "current measure only function" would solve it for me as well. best regards
  16. thanks for your answer. but i'm looking for a possibility to only change the selected notes within a single bar. (steps 17-32 for example) doesn't work with having the cursor at the beginning. i have note data in the second bar i'd like to shift. regards
  17. hi all, just exploring my new seqv4+. tried to change several notes in a two bar track with the use of the "all function". but seems i can't change only one bar without effecting the other. is it intended like that? would love to make changes in different bars with the help of that nifty feature. thanks a lot
  18. wouldn't name it an issue. even when ignoring the alignment (like i did) its not obvious. i love those shiny buttons as they are and if you place the leds approximately centered it will be perfect. would never put alu foil or tape inside of that beauty :)
  19. those switch-caps and led-window looking great. also the color scheme is fresh. after the completion i realized how important it is to have the super flux leds exactly in the middle to achieve an even illumination. seems obvious, but i didn't think about it. Consider giving the leds another try. ...still have six left :) is there a special reason for the size of the cutouts for the super flux leds? maybe a good idea to make the cutouts a bit smaller in a future revision of the le mec pcbs? greetings rbv2 ... I would like to add that this is a very pedantic observation :P
  20. done :) many thanks to everybody involved! next i have to read the new manual..
  21. hello peter, you were right about the jumper. i even forgot to install the header :D you definately saved my evening. :) thank you so much. it's working <3
  22. hi all, finally i could go on with the build. after all the testing looks promising and i managed to upload the seq app i now have some strange behaviour when starting up. did a short video to demonstrate whats going on. https://www.dropbox.com/s/me76qsg77vcayf4/VIDEO0148.mp4?dl=0 the app seems to work but there is something wrong with the oled-displays in conjunction with the buttons. i have tested the ja-board and the le-mec boards. all buttons, encoders and leds work properly. i also interchanged the displays and corresponding cables with the same result. could anybody please give me a hand? thank you
  23. hi, interesting info about mixing the colours :) cyan sounds great but would like to do the green/red scheme. Unfortunately i don't have any spare parts that will fit so it seems like I have to pause and wait for another parts delivery. thanks a lot
  24. hello, i have another question. since i've ordered an early parts list it seems i have 22R resistors to use for the JR (LED COLOR) positions instead of 47R. Also i only have 220R for the SJ (LED brightness). is it ok to use them? thanks
  25. @latigid on unfortunately not.. looks tricky. i will try it with a lot of solder. thank you again
