  1. Hi, It literally hadn't crossed my mind about the UK power supply not working in the US i did a quick search of Ebay and here's a couple of options that should work! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-64-Power-Adapter-Supply-C64-C128-SX64-Tested-Working-C64C-/120855549290?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c238d556a http://www.ebay.com/itm/COMMODORE-C64-64C-1541-1541II-1581-Custom-Replacement-Power-Supply-NEW-/300661417147?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4600d124bb

  3. Ok I'm selling my MB-6582 with power supply, i should mention the face panel has a small scratch about an inch,it has 8 6582a SID chips installed see pics! ,make me an offer if you're interested i'm in UK i can post to EU.
  4. Hi, I'd like to sell my MB-6582, i have no time to use it and unfortunatly its gathering dust, would it be ok to sell it within the MIDIbox community? Thanks
  5. For sale 4x 500k 16mm dual gang pots £2 for the lot .
  6. Yeah i did solder the larger Capacitors in before the IC sockets which was a bit of a mistake ,but i just bent a couple of the legs on the IC sockets to hold them in place which worked ok,if i were to build another the larger components would go in last for sure.
  7. Hey folks, Just about finished this MB-6582 ,all thats left to do is fit the feedback pots! I'm more than pleased with this Synthesizer, the only problems i had with the build was 2 led's didn't work which i have replaced now, also i didn't read the instructions properly on the length of cable between the base PCB and CS PCB ,i used 3 inches of cable and it ended up i couldn't close the case!. The panel is from Julianf and knobs were courtesy of bhc303 and thanks to Wilba for the great instruction guides. If you want to see some more pics here's a link to my Photobucket page http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh302/taftert/MB-6582/
  8. Hi, Got the knobs in the post this morning, thanks for the speedy delivery
  9. Hey , For the 6581 chip you'll be wanting to use the 470pf filter caps ,this is a good guide http://avishowtech.com/mbhp/mbhp_SIDR3a.html
  10. Hey, i built a similar optimised psu on vero board with a slightly different board layout, i was really chuffed the first time i powered it up and it worked here's a couple of pics
  11. Hi, Thanks ! I have some 24LC512's on the way and a bankstick pcb from Mike's midi shop, though i think finding space inside the box for the 8 bankstick is going to be tricky !
