  1. i want kit or two,, where can i order?
  2. hi, about that sid part question this confused me aswell. the 6582 model needs same specs as 8580 model... i took some time before my head got that.
  3. good things ! - you may have heard it before but thank you and everyone for a fantastic resource. ! -joe
  4. ok, i will do that. thanks again. enjoy!
  5. or at least the link to the pdf. i understand the bankstick page better after your explanation but anyhow.. :0) what is this "ensemble" on the ID7?
  6. thank you wilba, this answer make it much clearer to me. i dont know how it works. but your explanation and the link to the pdf should be added to the bankstik page http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_bankstick.html for newbies to understand better? the schematics on that page is alittle blury and tiny. thanks again.
  7. hi, at the moment i one have two bankstiks 24LC512. and belive it or not i have a hard time understanding this wirering ? :0) if i only have two. do i wire them like this? then flemming told me something about dedicating one bankstik to some ensemble code? - where can i read about this, read more about the bankstiks? im a little lost and confused.. hah. ok but if anyone is able to point directions or explain i would much appreciate it. thanks alot, - joe
  8. thank you. this is some good information. ! - joe
  9. :0) this is some good points you have here. !
  10. sorry, i should have done the search string., :-[ (anyhow im gonna do the thing and use my ears.. then make a choice and thanks for your replys) GM5 ok wow, i just bought this one flight simulation thingy.. it seem so friendly . ??? :0) i know i could read up on this but.. if i connected a DIN board to the core.. then the core would be able to foward in some midi data to the pc from the encoders.. as in not having the encoders to control anything MBSIDv2 parameter?? the thing is, i want in my program so that i can use the encoders for multiply parameters by chancing interface fan or simular. so i can use them to tweak my max/msp synth and samples aswell as the MBSIDv2. i saw the kool in having these connect to the pc with HID to max/msp.
  11. thanks futureman, this is my PSU from the PC and i thought i'd just solder wires from the motherboard where it connects to the PC.. is this a switched PSU,, sorry if im retarded :// the specs is 12V 3A DC
  12. Hi SLP, yeah something like that i wanted to hear.. im very new to elektroniks.. so i just wanted kinda feedback.. i've bin looking at this for some time now.. here and there. because it would be optimal with only one PSU. what is switchmode PSUs? - i thought the Optimized PSU took care of the noise?-- i was on the look out for somthing like the machine drum encoders and input them to my max/msp i stumbled upon some flight simulation geeks at http://www.desktopaviator.com/ who provide this for a better and real flight experience :0) he ships both the PCB and encoders.. i dont know if this is cheap?
  13. does it make any sense what i am asking?
  14. Hi again, i thinking about something but i dont know if its possible.. i wonder if it would be possible to power my MBSIDv2 setup from a pc. my naive setup looks like this.(my MBSIDv2 setup is a one CORE two SID module stereo setup) it a asus eee pc 900 stripped and modded for one finger touch-screen. some usb circuit from where ever.. but it gives med a possibility to have Machine Drum like encoders(if know that machine from elektron, its just endless turn encoders with push switch, and i get HID data for my programming) but i have this Optimized PSU circuit and i was wondering if i could power it from the computers PSU... so here my plan: the pc's PSU is 12V 3A, so i thought that i could use the 12V directly from the PSU to act as the 9V for the OPSU. and then drag the 5V for the OPSU from a USB port. - i think i have some Amp left as im not charting any battery on the PC. any thoughts? ideas.. is this doable, crazy not working? thanks - joe
  15. yep that was what i meant. :0) sorry i spell speak like i do.. ://
  16. yes that sounds interesting to explore.. i think for me and my first midibox setup.. im gonna look at what i can do with midi/sysex and MIOS tweaking.. for my setup witch is only a one CORE and two SID modules stereo setup..
  17. wilba: its a case mod on Amiga 600 case. i will post some pictures and story of my build soon, in my "joes midibox" thread :0) the communications so far... i've tested the implanted CC for the lead engine and some sysex. that was my main thought, things seem pretty available via sysex.. but iv'e not done much research yet.. im kinda up for anything as i did not start on the programming yet, so if you know away around stuff thats kool... lets talk about it.. the ASID protocol? im gonna do most programming in max/msp as this a syntax im very familiar with.. i dont know about the ASID protocol but this could maybe be ported to max/msp if one build an external object.
  18. oiy :! im acctuly working on something like this.. or maybe not... but i chose to integrate a Asus EEE PC 900 into my MBSIDv2 and then im programming a software in max/msp to sequence and manipulate the MBSIDv2...(and to some synth and sampling with max/msp) i've not done much on the software only a few demos to test the most basic.. as im trying to finish my build. i've made a touch screen mod on the eee pc and its just hooked up with midi/usb inside the case.. and i might be able to power the hole thing from the motherboard of the eee pc.. i will post some thing more later... this is just my crazy build hacked together with what i know. im no expert.. but i will enjoy my galaxy controller .:// but its kinda what your talking about. ? or could be possible with this setup.
  19. haha,,, ooohhhh shit,, ! crazy..
  20. how is that CS metal plade mounted? did you glue it ... or how is that no-screws visible stuff done? - joe
  21. wow.. ! this is wow.. ! heh. i like it alot. !
  22. this was the same trouble i had.. where i was advised to try another 9VAC PSU i had lying around and it made it for me(atm. i have to psu's connected ://).. i think you should measure about 11-12VAC from the 9VAC output on the PSU without anything else connected.. anyhow i found my c64 psu 9vAC output to be broken.. tt. maybe yours too broken.. :0( im no expert im very noobish.. so maybe other people got skills to help you out.. - joe
  23. oiy, jeg er os en dansker.. !:=)
