Hallo to all MBoxers!! ...one question.... is it possible to implement a dedicated rec button on the firmware? I tryed to find some topics in the forum but i did not find it..... I'm still in love with seq v3 and I cannot upgrade to v4 for the moment....even if I have some problem with live recording.... do you think is possible to reduce the firmware for what i use usually to improve the live recording function?( I just use a drum machine and a analog mono sinth) thanks a lot petrolio

Hi Mike! I was looking for something similar .... maybe between a simple seq for live recording and a trigger generator to play analog sinth. I found on the net some machine from FLAME like echometer or clockbox that are intersting but there is no soldering no drilling no programming... I already build an mbcv and a seq V3... but the feeling with the machine is not properly for my musical skills, I like keyboard switch and button with only one purpose. I tryng to study the code of varius application ( and I know that everything I need is in the repository) , It's hard for now ...I'm tryng to add a clock generator and a simple midi note recorder to my mbcv but maybe the pic is not enough powerfull to do this.... I'm trying to change my seq v3 to a midibox64e without change nothing inside ,and everything went well ( encoder , din, dout(led)) there are still some questiion about the possibility to make a better use of the second 2x40 display... No way to use the IIC MIDI Module that I already have isn't it? I will use the controller mostly for ableton..and to contol analog sinth with it..( I use a mbCV for this) Does Anyone did the same? Una domanda per gli utilizzatori del seq V3: E' strano , quando uso la funzione realtime recording il timing non e' mai uguale a quello che io suono con la master tastiera e a volte anche le note non sono giuste; ho pensato: le impostazioni di lunghezza e clock non sono corrette , oppure c'e una quantizzazzione segreta che io non trovo (a parte il sync to measure che io non utilizzo), oppure la mia tastiera da i numeri oppure il seq v3 ha delle pecche su questa funzione. c'era un post di futurman che (mi sembra di aver capito) parlava dell' imprecisione del v3 per il realtime rec... mi dispiacerebbe molto perche questa e' una delle funzioni che piu' mi interessava ... voi che dite? grazie pietropetrolio (salerno)

Ciao a tutti , Ho costruito un MBseq v3 che uso specialmente con un ms20 Korg. Il problema principale che i sinth Korg lavorano con CV HZ/volt mentre la curva di output del seq e' impostata in volt/oct. Ho provato a cercare nei meandri del programma e nelle varie cartelle delle applicazioni del seq ma non ho trovato nulla. devo dire che ho trovato un po di difficolta' ad istallare tutti i software che occorrono per poter modificare e creare le applicazioni. qualcuno puo' darmi un suggerimeto? cos'e il -GUISIM- di cui si parla in un altro post? I'm trying to set cv1 of my Aout_lc for my MS20....calibration,calibration but for a 3 octave keyboard I can't reach more than 1 V for C2 key until 5.5V for C5 key the correct range must be 1V for C2 8.2V for C5 AOUT lc is set 12bit for CV1 e 4 bit for CV2. Any suggestion? shall I change the value of R49 or R50 to increase the gain? (now is set to max) Infinite thanks to TK and all the people that work for this almost unreal projekt. thaks petrolio
