Hi guys, I finally got around to building my beloved Sammich. My wife said I should have made it look like a real Sandwich. LOL. No way. I went the custom white case route. You can see pics below via the links. I have one unfinished white case for sale for $50 and one with black paint job on the letters completed for a bit more at $60. The painted one has the protective paper removed but a real clean job on the paint work. Contact me at djthomaswhite at hotmail if interested. Both cases have a solid front piece and I have found having the open mesh sides if ample enough for power cooling. And the nice cool white glows from inside with whatever color combo you have used! See the blurry low light pics below. On mine I used a mix of red and yellow model enamel paint to get the orange color. I went with the amber LCD. I got some flatted orange LED's at allelectronics.com when I ordered my power supply. I got white buttons at digikey. I have a white knob on it now, but I ordered and orange knob with a white line from pedalpartsplus.com to have as an option (coming soon). I wasn't sure what to expect, but this build was very organized, did it in one night, and worked first time I plugged it in. I REALLY like the sound and have already started to get my hands on sound editing. Nice and beefy and chip tunes here I come. Here are some pictures... My link My link My link Enjoy it! Hi all, new to the list but not to diy. Glad to be here! Here is my limited edition white Sammich wrapper. I'm using orange LEDs and amber display. I also got some white button caps from digikey. Should look real nice when finished next to my white Access Virus and Whitewashed Voyager OS.I happen to have a couple extra cases I am willing to part with once I get this built.
