Hello , I just finish my second midibox64 now with 64 pots and 48 buttons ... so the problem is : when i send this message FA 01 02 @OnOff or FA anything (because FA without the second and the third words is not possible in mk_syx.pl script) nothing happend in FLStudio ... the rest works fine and very well . The strange fact is : I wrote in MIOS STUDIO2.2 Syx Tool same message ( FA or FC ) and sent in the windows of tool and the FLSTudio STARTs and STOP ok . What i wrong and where is the problem ? Thanks .

  4. hm, I have an edrum , but I think the MIDIBOX can be configure easy to be an edrum , if you know what MIDI events you want to control . Drums MIDI on Channel 10 , and a kick , from GM MIDI standard is 36 like in the link http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/GMStandardDrumMap.gif . in the midibox.ini configure the one of buttons or potentiometer like a ################################### [bUTTONS] # First 16 Buttons 1 = 90 24 7F @OnOff ----- 9 = Note ON 0 = midi channel ; 24 hexadecimal = 36 the kick ; 7F = volume at maximum (127 decimal level) ; so , after the model (...) ###################################### for the potentiometer is more complicated , but I think is possible to modify the analog input of edrum for AIN .   6. Same problems to me . Even when I put a 24LC512 memory bank and I send the config to the bank the snapshot it wasn't work. After restart the knob will be initiating to zero to be wake up.   7. 1 - Check the CORE with 8 unmuxed pots.If it is OK then ... 2 - Check the board AIN4 , it seems is like a defect on it .
  8. The proposal to control in some different modes i put in the first pic , where is two versions .. And for the principle of generating multiple notes i have in my mind two version :) ... I illustrated in the second pic . A parameter named interval_ it adds at the note_scale from the matrix like an simple number (first version) , so the vector is {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12}, and the multiplicator_ is a number of how many intervals was generated. For (i=1;i<multiple;i++) { note_scale=(note_scale + interval_*multiple_ ) } , or something .. where multiple_ is limited at 32 or less notes per MIDI Channel. Also in the future with more bigger ROM ,interval_ is a matrix generating double, chords and other sounds at different velocity... I'm not a programmer, I'm just a fan of this site .

It is excellent for a live session for an "arp-man" on a piano keyboard , but the Pitch Bender seems it is not available , or the real play note on other MIDI chanel ( because another MIDI merger maybe is redundant here) ? Second.. It is posible to generate double note or third ? Thanks again for this gorgeous project !

  13. Yes , GM is the best , but in my country finally don't find to buy ,and I made it with PIC 18F2550 to upload MIOS ! 3 hours to work and 3 seconds to flashing COREPIC. THKs Once again .
  14. Oh!... why mine?!!!... :) ok , let's build MBHP_USB_PIC18F2550_(on stock) V1 or MBHP_USB_PIC with IIC module with PIC 18F452 (must I buy) ? Thank you very much!
  15. Hi, great projects here and many thx for sharing . I have a problem because my laptop don't have a gameport i try to upload MIOS with USB CABLE EMU 1X1 but isn't work. The CORE 8 has a PIC18F452 burn with Brenner8 seems to be ok .When I press START to load the MIDI MIOS hex file , the midi msg of CORE stops and it take a 15-20 minutes to complete the loading bar... after that restarting and the corepic same regular midi msg send. Everything seems OK because on ther Rx and Tx of the pins of PIC its blinking a LED , but won't loading via MIDI USB cable. so.. What kind of cable or bootstap should to use ?
