  1. Hi, my MIDI output connector had been twisted... I can now connect to each MF_NG seperatly again. But in the chain, I have only access to the "Link Endpoint". Device Id 2 (MIDI Channel 3). Device Id 0 (MIDI Channel 1) and Device Id 1 (MIDI Channel 2) cannot be found, although they send and receive MIDI data. They are configured as "Link Forwarding Points". What am I still doing wrong?
  2. I have 3 MF_NGs linked in a chain. And it already worked some time ago. MIOS Studio does not recognize MF_NG boards, while amidi -p hw:4,0,0 --dump shows incoming MIDI Events for fader movement on all MF_NGs on fader 1. I tried to connect just one MF_NG, but that did not work eather. The boards are not showing up in MIOS Studio, no matter what I do. What am I missing?
  3. Hi, I checked a few faders and theyall have between 13 and 15kOhms. No Touchsensors! So I suppose it is a special ALPS OEM product for Yamaha!?
  4. Hi *, a few years ago, I got my hands on replacement parts of a Yamaha digital console. Fader boards with 24 faders in total. Now I have the following issues: 1. How can I determine, which part number the faders have? (although ALPS only provides RSA0K11... types on their webpage) 2. It has a resistence of 14kOhms. Used with the MF_NG I have about 2cm at the top, which don't produce any values. I tried to solder 35kOhms in parallel to acheive 10kOhm... but guess, it did not work. Until now I did not try the motor, only the fader resistance... Here is a picture of one. Is there any way, I can calibrate the MF_NG for this type of fader? Or does anyone know some other trick? Best regards, Ck
  5. found it... http://archive.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/eclipse3.1/dist/3.0.2/
  6. Hi *, I wanted to setup the tool chain for MIOS8 development. I downloaded Eclipse 3.1 but I cannot find a CDT version for it anymore. The nightly builds page of CDT only provides CDT 3.2.1 (http://archive.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/3.1.2/index.html) which builds against Eclipse 3.2 Could anyone share a link? Or is there a newer toolchain? Best Regards, Ck
