  1. Oh and if you decide to use sand it, you should use very fine sand paper so it doesn't leave any markings.
  2. Hi mate, When I did mine, I just used a small brush and some lacquer. I think I read somewhere you should use acrylic paint. I used a small hobby knife to scrape paint that went too far off the letters. Try a hobby knife or a needle to scrape the letters clear from paint :)
  3. Hi guys, I just completed assembling the sammichSID, So far so good. I could use some presets to get started on the sammichSID. I only have the default lead patch. -Spazi
  4. Hi mate, you can buy PCB's from here: http://avishowtech.com/mbhp/buy.html I doubt you can find one for sale in europe. If shipping is not a problem, this is the place to buy it. -Spazi
  5. Dav flemming.
  7. I've bought several chips from amigula. Nice guy :)
  8. Hi Kriss, thanks for sharing. I already got a number of canditates I would like to buy, I'm just looking for one that would suit projects like this. I'm just thinking about heat and not ruining the PCB ;)
  9. Hi guys, I need your opinion on something. I'm in the market for a new soldering Iron, but I don't know how many watt's it should be? Hi or low? what is best suited? I have a 25 watt old one, and I've experienced that I had the tip too long on the PCB and I ruined it :( Hopefully a new one that is more proper to small PCB's should fix this. Anyone got a tip to give me? -Spazi
  10. Haha I knew it! Thanks mate, and sorry ;)
  11. Hey mate, You still selling one of these?
  12. Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and right now I'm collecting parts to build my own MB-6582. If I posted this in the wrong forum section, I apologize and understand the admin's reason for moving this. Stuff I need: 1. the waldorf looking knobs or the knobs on the sammichSID. (Without a pointer) 2. 40x40x10 5v cooling fan (with blue LED) Only one's I could find were 12v :( 3. a bunch of 8580 SID's (already buying some of ebay) 4. MB-6582 front panel (for the control surface) 5. MB-6582 back panel (holes to Fan, audio, Midi and power)
  13. I'm very interested in buying some of your 8580's :D
