Hehe. I can't say other than u got my respect for keeping up with that. I have just done 2 DINs 1 DOUT and 1 AIN, and I found it to be horrible "repeat" work :P. But it's nice when done!

Thanks!
Ok, so I ordered some resistors from canada :o Was the nearest ebay place I could find them - for those dont't know - that's the other side of the planet from norway :P.
I'm a little anxious to see how bright the leds are with those resistors. I have a led resistor calculator on my android, and I have been to lazy to calculate on my own. But that calculator says that I should use 130 ohm resistor 5 volt source, 2.5v across diode and 20mA. The ones I ordered in is 180 ohms. Lets see how it works out - somehow I think it's gonna be just as good... But I haven't got too much experience with driving LEDs from 5 volt, so I really can't tell for sure, but now when I tested them on 12 volt I have used 560 ohm resistor, and that is just about the same as 180 ohms 5 volt, so I think it's gonna be fine.

Hawk, you were absolutely right - the backlit knobs are pretty cool after dark! :D I am gonna do more backlit stuff from now on :D

Oh shit, don't even start talking about this stuff!
I have my cs pcb on my work bench now, and I haven't got a front panel yet, but all the tacts are soldered in place! :) Haha, and I can see there is many of the tactiles that is not in optimal position :P hehe.
But I'll take that trouble when I get there. I have shit loads of tactile buttons in my drawer, so I guess desoldering a bunch of them shouldn't be any more trouble than the time it takes, and I guess, I have enough time ;). I need to get a quote on my frontpanel from julian soon, but the design isn't completely nailed yet, but I'm not laying another blub of solder on that cs board before I get the front panel hehe.
Good luck on yours blatboy.

aww. I had almost forgotten how the non populated boards look like :). Had my boards on the bench without finishing it for far too long now. Have fun!

Oh I also thought initially to build a minimal cs, but now when I hold the case in my hands, I can't settle with that.
Any suggestions from you people who are more used to handling hardware synths what controls to include. I have ordered in a DINx4 and DOUTx4 from smash's shop, so that's what I'm limited to.
I aim to make this my bring-to-gig sid synth (6582 for special occations :)), and What I was thinking about was to actually exclude the oscillator section, and bring with me filter, lfo and envelope. I am unsure about the matrix, wether to include it or not.
Would of course also need the LCD and the control buttons and encoder.
I have a lot of tact switches - bought a huge pack off ebay some time ago (13mm ones) and I have some encoders, but I'll just drop by Tim's if I need more.
If you would have to choose 2 of the section in the full CS, what would it be? :)

Thanks. I haven't been able to do any more work on it since this evening, but I hope to find time for it soon. I'm not the type who can just sit down with it for an hour or something. Need to be able to dig a bit deeper into it than one hour at a time. Hope to get some done this weekend :D

Thanks, I think it's gonna look really badass.
