  2. hey peter! i will definitely A/B test it. However, i burnt about 3 pads on one of the pcb's. but i found a kit where you can actually replace the burnt pad with a new one. http://www.circuitspecialists.com/pcbrepairkit.html I'm currnetly building 3 shruthi1-s so all of my money went into sourcing chips etc, so i will go back to the mb6582 soon as i get paid :)
  3. hey fellas, there's a ebay seller offering custom psu's for c64, i bought one, but won't have a chance to test for some time. but thought i'd share. http://www.ebay.com/itm/COMMODORE-C64-64C-1541-1541II-1581-Custom-Replacement-Power-Supply-NEW-/290632724037?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D300611297268%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4249645718421896243#ht_1104wt_887
  4. hi, sorry i haven't been able to test them because i burnt two pads so it's on hold. i spoke with him on many occassions and he sounds sincere if that's worth any value.
  5. thanks Janis, I still need to know what exactly do i connect what is stated in the consturction guide vs the link i provided. the pcb eagle file shows no 2 pin, 3 pin headers.
  6. Hi guys, i found a link where someone already had designed a pcb for a power supply http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=northernlightx&s this is great, however i'm stuck wondering how does this connect/work with the mb6582? am i still using the DIN plug to hook the powersupply? or do i use one of those 2/3 pin power connectors and somehow connect those to my mb6582? scratching my head. thanks!
  7. that's great dude, i'd totally be interested! good luck

See it as a learning experience. Keep at it and you'll end up with really nice boards that sound fantastic

Like Rosch said. If you need to hook a little wire or resistor lead to the next pad... You wouldn't be the first ;)

No trace? No Harm No Foul!

      Carry on.

I know all about the residtor lead trick. Soldered a capacitor in the wrong place and managed to wreck the pad trying to remove it. Annoying, but it works.

  17. i'm finally letting this one go, space is becoming an issue. never left my bedroom. comes with usb cord. I might have the cd laying around. asking $200 shipping not included will be determined. i live in u.s. so shipping will be a pretty penny if you live abroad. condition is excellent. paypal please
