  1. Sorry, Maybe it'a a stupid of topic question. Are this type of new minipc board like Raspberry pi or this http://www.udoo.org/ usable to sobstitute the lpc core ? I didn't want to do or ask this but, whit this kind of hardware that is more pc oriented, dektop, server...can a power user made a sort of virtual hardware sequencer ? i mean a person that isn't able to write and create pcb board and electronics but has maybe some knowledge whit puredata or similar, can take this board install a minimal linux and puredata and run patches on and controlling it with a standar controller, there are plenty just done on the market.....and use it. This thing can be an hardware sequencer or synth ? like the midibox project ? can port the source code of midiboz or other project on it ? Where is the difference when inside hardware controller sequencer or synth there's a sort of pc, if i take my pc and control by this midi controller wihit an interface, it's an hardware sequencer ? bye
  2. Ok, thank you i figured out, so i can order from mike shop the 3Xdinx4 and 1Xdoutx4 pcb or try to made my pcb, then all the parts that i can found in my city shop, the lcds and then start to build it ? ...and of course the case. Thanks
  3. Hi, I know that maybe this is a just done question but, i don't understand well: I have a seq v4l, i want to upgrade to the seq v4, so i have the core from seqv4l i need the other parts and on the ucapps site point to the wilba pcb...but i can use the seq v3 control parts for the control surface ? there's a tutorial or something for do this ? This because i have some parts and kit from a not started midibox controller so i have some ain dout...module and maybe i can use this ? ....and i know that for a wilba pcb i have to wait. Thanks
  4. Hi, i solved this using the low-cost adapter like the ucapps site. (Hi to everyone, I got recently a midibox seq v4 lite from the fleamarket, so i did't build by myself, works, but not the sdcard. I use a sdhc 4gb, partitioned to 900 MB with a FAT16, in the MIOS terminal give me this error: [4384.701] [disk_initialize] error while checking for SD Card (status 0) [4384.703] [FILE] Failed to open root directory - error status: 13 [4385.700] SD Card disconnected There's a card pcb with the slot, not the low-cost solution, look at the connection seem all ok, the only thing is the ground that only one it's soldered. I would try to make the low-cost adapter on the ucapps site, but if someone know how to check or maybe i wrong something...i would like to see if it's all ok before build the adaptor. I'm new in electronics and in midibox but i'm able to solder some wire. Thanks)
  5. Hi, I'm be interested, i'm in Italy, could post more pics ? ...and it's a lpc17 core ? It's fully working ? i'm noob to electronics but this for me can be a better way to learn with something just done in my hand. So 115 eu for all a part service postal ? Thanks i also PM you.
  6. Hi to everyone, I don't know if it's the right place to ask. I have some parts from a Yamaha A4000 sampler, i'm new in electronics but i follow the Midibox project and maybe one day i decide to start bulding a sequencer....anyway are these item usefull in some diy in general or midibox application ? I want to know if are usefull things to have for somethings diy, otherwise i can sell/exange them, so if can be usefull to anybody let me know. An AIEB2 yamaha I/O expansion board (6 out, 1 digital i/o, 1 optical i/o) was mounted od an A4000 sampler. The motherboard of the sampler, 4 ram banks (i don't know how many Kb), power parts. A SCSI CARD reader. SCSI/IDE adapter "Acard". I can post some photo if someone want. Bye. ...and sorry, the CARD reader is IDE and the adapter IDE/SCSI.
  7. ...what you sell ? seq4 sid .... ? thanks, i'm interested if is a seq4 pcb with all parts.thanks
  8. Hi, mmm...i would like but i'm in Italy and with postal service and import taxes i think is too much money for me now, i try to get a midibox seq first and then the synths FM SID. But if you post some pics would be nice. Bye.
