  1. Hi everybody, Sit down ... Take a deep breath ... Close your eyes ... Now your mind is free ... Start dreaming about your perfect MIDI Router ... Imagine its IO count, features, shape / case, its behaviour and menu / screen functions... Leave aside any technical limitations, just imagine it ... Could you take a few minutes to describe it, please? Best regards Bruno Yes, latency is important in particular when routing is chain of MIDI equipment. Labels for direct viewing is something obliged. Routing Presets of course... Easy and fast ui port/channel routing access! --> a good USER INTERFACE Optional 'panic' function for lost note-off or high sustain during a port/channel switching. --> panic option for quiet switch Yes definitively! We can imagine some dedicated sysex commands... I love this idea too. We can imagine more than that, more than label IO and device name, with the use of the SD card we can try to get a library of CC, drum mapping names too. That's perfect!
  2. Hello midibox community, I am working on a concept for a master keyboard router. The master keyboard should be routed to predefined midi outs (1-4). Each target can be transposed indiviually by an adjusted value. (octave up/down ; sem up down , Setting shown in the corresponding display) Each target can be enabled / disabled individually. (ONOFF button ) Unfortunately i cannot find any transpose function for the router targets within the scripting documentation. Or do i have to alter the source for this functionality ? Could somebody give me a hint where to search for any transpose settings?(I only found it for CV values.) Attached you 'll find a scetch of my setup. Many thanks Max
  3. Hi everybody, finally I found the time to start a project on my new LPC17 core. I want to replace my current MIDI router (PIC-based) with the MIDIbox NG application. I have MIDI devices connected to both IN/OUT ports and a computer via USB. All MIDI channels are used and need to be routed/duplicated to different ports. Here's my problem: MIDIbox NG offers only 16 router nodes, but I need at least 32 to route my channels properly. Is it somehow possible to increase the number of nodes? A different solution would be to offer a range of filtered source channels instead of single ones. E.g. could we somehow group these 5 nodes into a single one (without using "All")? ROUTER n= 1 src_port=IN1 src_chn=5 dst_port=OUT2 dst_chn=17 ROUTER n= 2 src_port=IN1 src_chn=6 dst_port=OUT2 dst_chn=17 ROUTER n= 3 src_port=IN1 src_chn=7 dst_port=OUT2 dst_chn=17 ROUTER n= 4 src_port=IN1 src_chn=8 dst_port=OUT2 dst_chn=17 ROUTER n= 5 src_port=IN1 src_chn=9 dst_port=OUT2 dst_chn=17 That would help me a lot.... Best, Sebastian
