  1. I am doing a 15 Fader project which would require 2 NG_MF boards. I have heard you can chain these together. Is it possible? If so, how do you chain these together?
  2. Hello all, After a long time with practically no time to continue my project I have decided to downscale my project. That's why I'm selling a lot of stuff: 1x STM32F4 Core Module Board+ STM32F407G-DISC Assambled, tested and working (no sd card), use at own risk 1x MF_NG Module + PIC Assembled, tested and working, use at own risk 3x MF_NG Module + PIC Assembled (1 board missing 1 IC), not tested 1x Custom MF_NG Module (no PIC) Partly assembled, not tested 1x Custom MF_NG Module (no PIC) Not assembled 1x DOUT Module Assembled, tested and working, use at own risk 1x MIDI IO Not assembled 26x 100mm Alps Motor N fader (some o-lead, some normal lead) Unused, only mounted, no caps 2x 19 inch frontfpanel from dibond (aluminium, plastic, aluminium) 1 with cutouts for 16 faders, OLEDs and led VU meters 1 with cutouts for 8 faders, OLEDs and led VU meters and 2 Steinberg CMC cutouts Preferably selling it as one lot, but I might consider selling individual items. (I might keep de STM32F4, but not sure, defends on the offer) Make me an offer. Shipping costs for buyer.
  3. Hello everyone :) i'm Leon from Germany and I want to design my own midi controller. It should look exactly like that: http://www.malighting.com/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_MA_onPC-fader-wing-web_04_d5a4263569.jpg I decided to build the LPC17 based Core and use 2 DIN, 2 DOUT (60 buttons - 60 LEDs) and two MFNG module, because I want to use 15 Motorfaders from Alps. Is this project possible with midi box? Where can I buy the PCBs in Germany? I would be very happy with some feedback :) All the best
  4. Another question about the MBHP NG platform: How to connect the Motorfader NG to new core32 without using MIDI (STM32F4)? Wich best way and protocol to use? (as well as MIDI I/OS on new core are already quite "pin-loaded") thanks in advance, Jerome
  5. Hi *, a few years ago, I got my hands on replacement parts of a Yamaha digital console. Fader boards with 24 faders in total. Now I have the following issues: 1. How can I determine, which part number the faders have? (although ALPS only provides RSA0K11... types on their webpage) 2. It has a resistence of 14kOhms. Used with the MF_NG I have about 2cm at the top, which don't produce any values. I tried to solder 35kOhms in parallel to acheive 10kOhm... but guess, it did not work. Until now I did not try the motor, only the fader resistance... Here is a picture of one. Is there any way, I can calibrate the MF_NG for this type of fader? Or does anyone know some other trick? Best regards, Ck
Also z.B.

  9. [ S O L D ] Hi there! In 2007 I did a bulk-order for ALPS Motorfaders and bought some circuit boards and other parts to build two MidiBox LC (6 Ch and 20Ch). For more than 5 years I didn't get to build those Boxes, now I have a lot of spare parts lying around that I'd like to get rid of. 10. Hey. This is my first time posting and my first build. Thanks for all the hard work on this project. Very cool stuff! I have a few questions on getting started. I have the LPC17 setup with the SD and working over USB. My configuration is going to be: LPC17 (2) DIN to control 21 Rotary knobs and 20 buttons (1) MF_NG to control 1 Motorized Fader (Alpha) (1) DOUT for LED I won't be using any midi ports for this project, it will be USB-MIDI. I have J4B of LPC17 connected to J11 of MF_NG. From here, I have no idea what to do to be honest. I would love to make a detailed PDF of the connections to share. I will be interfacing this with ProTools and Reason, what is the best emulation for those? Any help would be amazing. Cheers. -eric
