Hello,
I'd like to let you see my first MIDIbox creation, now finished.

Once it was transparent, then it got too many scratches and I repainted gray. Now it looks like a Stealth, or some scientific instrumentation of the '40s.

Ahhh nice :) You guys know I love that 'MIL' look :) The angles and the grey colour make it look like it could have come from the cabin of an F117 :)

Well done!

It looks like four people could sit around it and tweak knobs at the same time!

Very well done, Ris8.
I remember when this project was just a twinkle in your eye, and now it is a real head-turner.
That is awesome.

Thank you, and thank you again to let me remember to link to the original thread where for the first time I talked about this: http://www.midibox.o...pic,8500.0.html

Sorry for bumping this thread. I was just let you know that the thing grew up these months.

Now it has two stereo 6582As, one mono 6581,
8 boards stacked in pairs, separated by mains cable rubber (some fantasy required to fit all the boards in a diamond-shaped box),
and a DE-15 connector (the same as VGA) to output the 5 audio outputs with room for future external audio input wires.

Attached File(s)
