Seppoman asked me for a SSM2044 demo, so here it is:
  ->

This is the first jam session I recorded with Logic8 - not everything is under my control yet (especially the distortions ;))
I especially love the part, where the SSM filter is routed through a guitar amp Fx. It starts at 1:39 :)

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Wow, with the ssm filter it sounds so much closer to a real 303, this demo really  makes the sid sceam.

I just bought a thousand SSM2044 filter chips... if anyone wants one, send one dollar to Happy Dude, 742 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield. Don't delay. Eternal happiness is just a dollar away.

for the humour impaired, that's a joke

Ho yes, they're verah nice-ah! Now go a way or I shall taunt you a second time-ah!

(Waiting for the board, for my two 2044s.)

Damn good demo. I guess when I biuld my SID box, I'll leave some room to contain such a setup.

Most impressive.

Has anyone got a lead on a supplier for SSM2044? These chips go for about $6 ($7 w shipping) on ebay. Not too bad, really, but I guess a bulk order from a larger quantity supplier could be better.

The guy I did the x0xb0x rare parts from usually has some.

Once I'm a little more sorted, (and the broadband now seems to be OK at least), I'll ask.

Great. We should all upgrade our SIDs with those SSMs. That guy seams to be reliable and fair supplier.

Wow.... sick demo sounds.  Is the filter built into yours somehow, or is it external, or what's the dealio?  :)

**EDIT**

Derrrr... I just found your link in the very first post.... lol, helps to click.

WOW!  That sounds amazing.  I so want one.  Or maybe four.  But I should probably finish my base MBSID first... :D

I'm super inspired by this, thank you so much TK!
