Guest rebelrob
Greetings,I am constructing the MIDIBox plus. So far everythinghas run smoothly until I connected the last components, the pots.. Everything displays correctly (trigger buttons for example) except the value of the pots displayed on the little bar graphs.. they are currently stuck half way and when I turn the a pot maximum it goes full, but turning it down, the value seems to go down to 3/4 of the way then stops... I checked the voltage across the pots and it goes from 0 to ~4.6 volts...Any ideas what could be wrong?Regards,Rob
Guest rebelrob
Actually on closer inspection I see the MIDI value is either 91 or 127 (nothing in between) when turning a pot... Could I have damaged the A/D converter in the pic??
Guest rebelrob
Problem solved-I used Dave Wheeler's PCB layout... There was a trackmissing which was mean to connect pin 5 of the PIV to 5v.... This should probably be fixed and updated on the download site.. (as well as grounding the floating inputs on the 74HC00.... )
