Mackie emulation & midibox?

Currently i own a UC33e controller that uses the mackie emulator midi events.

It allows me to use the up,down, left, right, play clip, play row features for ableton.

This allows me to not require a mouse while using ableton for djing.

Does the midibox support this? If so, how would it be implemented and also where would documentation on this be?

Regards,

jamie

The ableton MIDI documentation should tell you what messages ableton expects. (Alternatively, you could sniff the messages sent by your UC33e controller, e.g. using MIDIOX). Assigning MIDI messages to certain buttons on the MIDIbox is a piece of cake, see the various C code examples, e.g. here. Or, you take a look at the MIDIbox LC.
