UPDATE: The prototypes are being shipped out atm, once they're tested I will set a deadline after which I will not accept any more orders. This should happen within the next couple of weeks.

It's alive :D

The attached images show (1) the minimum requirements with just the gm5 and the usb circuitry, (2) one fully assembled strip (due to a tiny little imperfection in the layout *cough* the sockets had to be mounted under the pcb).

I did the exact same mistake on my 5x5 device... Will this be fixed in the final release?

sorry, i was not sure if you would choose the smd eeprom or fit the pcb for the dip version.

No worries ;-) Since the "program the EEPROM via the GM5" is probably not gonna happen soon, DIP is a better choice. Although you can in-circuit program the EEPROM with 4 wires, too ;-)
