Wilba Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 You forgot...WIKI page about nILS' Bulk Order Terms and Conditions: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/nils_bulk_termsFor the people who aren't fluent in Legalese, allow me to paraphrase:STFU, read your email daily, pay when asked, if it doesn't arrive, STFU. nILS Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 UPDATE: The prototypes are being shipped out atm, once they're tested I will set a deadline after which I will not accept any more orders. This should happen within the next couple of weeks. Quote
Wilba Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 If by "being shipped out atm" you mean "sitting on my desk gathering dust while I wait for you to send me names and addresses of people who want them"... Quote
nILS Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 Um, yeah that's a crucial part of being shipped out ;-) Quote
Kartoshka Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 now stfu and wait like everybody else. :D Quote
nILS Posted November 11, 2008 Author Report Posted November 11, 2008 Hehe, no, actually Wilba gets to bitch and whine as much as he wants to, since he's a vital part of operation gm5x5x5 ;-) Quote

nILS Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 Updates:It's alive :DThe attached images show (1) the minimum requirements with just the gm5 and the usb circuitry, (2) one fully assembled strip (due to a tiny little imperfection in the layout *cough* the sockets had to be mounted under the pcb). stryd_one Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I like your choice of workbench cover. Your homework for this class is to walk through the ghetto at night with a gold watch on :D Quote
strophlex Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 (due to a tiny little imperfection in the layout *cough* the sockets had to be mounted under the pcb).I did the exact same mistake on my 5x5 device... Will this be fixed in the final release? Quote
nILS Posted November 26, 2008 Author Report Posted November 26, 2008 Done and fully working. I flipped the page for your reading pleasure. The odd little construction at the top is my special way of working with the not-quite-so-smart choice of footprint for the eeprom. Will be fixed in the final version of course. Quote
mrcam Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 hi nils, why the eeprom 24c04 is flying? there is no enough space to include the dip version? Quote

mrcam Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 sorry, i was not sure if you would choose the smd eeprom or fit the pcb for the dip version. Quote
nILS Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 No worries ;-) Since the "program the EEPROM via the GM5" is probably not gonna happen soon, DIP is a better choice. Although you can in-circuit program the EEPROM with 4 wires, too ;-) Quote
Sasha Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Nils, could you publish some vector of holes and connector placement for people who plan to build a custom casing? Quote
