Vinyljunkie Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 hy folks, i want to build a midibox for my midines tracker to controll any event. the box works corectly, but my problem is to config the midi channel and cc for individual pot. if i turn any pot with learn pot function, the pot nr. dont change. so what can be the problem?
ssp Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 the number doesnt change im afraid, the easiest way to do it is like this. if you have got the ainx4 boards hooked up to the core, each ain will take 8 pots/faders the board allows for 4x8 pots or faders, so if the pot you want is on the second set of pins then thats 9-16 so if you wanted pot 9 to assign a midi cc# to you would move the pot number to 9 in the Editor and so on, if you do all the changes first, then make sure learn is turned off in the editor then do a sysex dump to your mb64 so its like this J1 J2 J3 J4 | | | | A0-A7 A0-A7 AO-A7 A0-A7 | | | | POT 1-8 9-16 17-24 25-32
Vinyljunkie Posted January 12, 2010 Author Report Posted January 12, 2010 So I have to manually adjust the pot nr.? i want this shematic:
ssp Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 yes you have to manually change the pot number in the editor when you change the number you move up one pot, all you do is edit the pot to the cc# you want then go to the next one and so on. when you have done this you then do the sysex dump to the core.
Vinyljunkie Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Posted January 14, 2010 thank, but now i changed direct on board. i dont know what was wrong with the tool. but its now a funny tool. in few days i post my midinesmidicontroller in my nes. here is a short picture.
