Hello everyone,

have to build a MIDI controller without Motorfader with STM32 Board.

My question is now.

How many DINX4, DOUTX4 and AINX4 modules can I add the Board maximum?

I know 4 x DINX4, 4 x DOUTX4 options and others.

But what maximum integration is possible?

Thank you.

Something like:

STM32 Board i can add maximum ( )x DINX4; ( )x DOUTX4; ( )x AINX4 Modules

or

i can add maximum ( )x Pots, ( )x Knobs, ( )x LEDs, ( )x Encoder,( )LED Rings with ( )LEDs,

As long as you don't connect a SD Card or MBHP_ETH interface to J16:

- up to 4 DINX4

- up to 4 DOUTX4

- up to 4 AINX4

Number of buttons/encoders/LED rings only limited by the application you will program by yourself.

E.g. if you would multiplex 2x2 DOUT SRs to a 16x16 matrix, you could easily control 256 LEDs

If you duplicate this multiplexing to 8x2x2 DOUT SRs to 8 16x16 matrices, you could control 2048 LEDs

If it makes sense or not would be your own decision - thats one of the reasons why you will never get a straightforward answer.

It would be easier for us to give you a helpful answer if you would introduce your plans (and maybe also a bit of your programming knowledge) first and ask for a feasible partitioning of available resources.

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Werde bald mein Projekt anfangen.

Was meinst Du denn mit Matrix? Alle Pin 1 (CW) kriegen 5V, alle Pin 3 (CCW) kriegen Masse und alle Wiper gehen einzeln an die AINs.

Hallo Back,

i have tell you a question to the maximum usage.

I have completed the STM32 PCB Mounting and already 1 AINX4 Module.

Now, i have readed some threads, but i don´t find something about the connection for the fourth AIN Module.

You have tell me, that i can concect 4 AINX4 Modules when i don´t connect, SD Card or the Interface.

Can you tell me were i have to connect the fourth Module to the STM32 Board?

And here is a little Piture of the Project i have to make....
