Hi, how did you connect them?

Middle PIN=GND, left and right pins go to two different DIN pins?

I am using the STEC12E08 (with push button) and they work flawlessly (using DETENTED3 setting for MIOS). Methinks the STEC12E07 is just a 08 without push button and should work therefore...

Bye,

Peter

It's probably a wrongly configured encoder type.

MB64e uses MIOS_ENC_MODE_NON_DETENTED while MBFM uses MIOS_ENC_MODE_DETENTED2 by default. According to Peter MIOS_ENC_MODE_DETENTED3 is the more suitable one for STEC12E0x

Yod: do you already know how to change the setup_mbfm_v1.asm file and recompile the application? (see also README.txt)

Best Regards, Thorsten.

The different pinout is interesting... thanks for your feedback.

edit:

I looked at the datasheet:

http://www2.produkti...R_STEC12E07.pdf

on page 5 it says that "C" is the middle pin and on page 3 you can see that "C" is "ground" and is switching pins "A" and "B", when the knob is turned.

So this is somehow strange - but if it works for you - never change a running system ;-)
