PG-200 is a non-MIDI device used to program the Roland JX-3P, MKS-30, and GR-700. There have been murmurings around this community of a desire to clone it for a while, but not much ever came of it. 101 Force Posted April 23, 2011 Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 For all intents and purposes the KiwiTechnics Patch Editor is a PG-200 clone (and more). When it's switched to edit a stock JX-3P/MKS-30 it connects to them with a DINSync cable and edits them in the same way the PG-200 does (without MIDI). Of course, it also has secondary editing mode for the JX-3P, in which it can be used to edit a JX-3P that has been modded with the KiwiTechnics upgrade kit as well.
