Hi Guys,

I have now completed my first DIY synthesizer project, the sammichSID. I read the build guide four times and soldered once ;-) with the result that the sammichSID worked straight away. I placed two 8550R5 SID's into the sammichSID which sound excellent. I would like to thank Jason, Thorsten, Nils and all the others who made this project possible. Especially Wilba's build guide was excellent, made it so easy....

For me it was a kind of "warm up" project, as I have to build the MB6582 within the next couple of weeks. I had some problems with the soldering and the paint job, that I will hopefully improve the next time with the sammichFM. Please find attached some pictures which should give you a better impression.
