Assign audio outputs

Hey yall,

I'm trying to run my mbfm drums out of another ouput channel. Thats the easy part.

But I am trying to get all my other sounds not going to that 2nd channel (only want output #1)

I went into ensemble and scrolled all the way to the right for the op12, op34 routing and changed my 4 mbfm tracks to only show 1 and not 1234 but they all still come out of channel two, 3 and 4.

I have seperate audio lines ran to each individual ouput on the MBFM. Am I missing something? Maybe I have a short somewhere as I noticed now the drums are still coming out of channel 1 as well! It must be a short somewhere right?

I don't totally understand the difference in routing the audio signals either (such as if there are any downsides to routing audio only to certain outputs), but I can say that I have done something very similar to what you have done and I did not have any problems. I basically put drums on op34 and regular instruments on op12 and that worked. I couldn't make a guess as to what might be wrong in your case though :/

I would start by using just a single instrument and putting it on different outputs to see if anything changes and go from there.

Yeah. I haven't had any problems with the Output routings. I rout the instruments out of 1,2, the kick out of 3 and the other drums out of 4. Not sure where the short would be... been a little while since I looked at the schematic and board... Late now. I'll take a peek tomorrow.
