I would assume that this will work fine for "regular" MIDI data, but will miserably fail for system exclusive MIDI data. It looks like a no-name version of many of the black-listed USB cable interfaces known to NOT work properly.

Also, how can that website get away with shamelessly stealing the YAMAHA DX logo?

back to topic... better shop for a "whitelisted" MIDI interface if you want trouble-free operation (or try to convince somebody to send you a GM5 :-))
