Motorola Coldfire Freescale CPU Rate Topic: -----

Had to replace an encoder on my Elektron MachineDrum and thought while I was inside I would write down some of the components.

The main core is 2X Motorola DSP 56303 with one Motorola Coldfire 56206 for the OS.

A lot of VA Synth use Motorola DSP. Or Freescale as they are called now. Think of synths as the Access Virus or Waldorf Blofeld.
