I know the MBHP CORE LPC17 build guide mentions this, but I just wanted to confirm.

The pinning of the 2x8 LCD connectors J15A and J15B is mirrored to simplify the cabling of common 2x20 and 2x40 displays (and partly due to historical reasons - it's originated from the so called "UltraPCB").
Note also that in difference to the MBHP_CORE_STM32 module, the J15 ports have been rotaed by 180 degrees! But the polarity is the same, which means that you can re-use the LCD cables which you made for the MBHP_CORE_STM32 module.

What exact orientation does my J15 header go in? Pin 1 is bottom right on the PCB from SmashTV, but the header itself says Pin 1 is bottom left if the keying is facing down. See picture below:

Almost done with my first core!!!

Pin 1 of J15 (Vs) goes to Pin 1 of the LCD (pin is typically named Vss)

See also this datasheet for comparison: http://www.reichelt....b6190feb346e108

Best Regards, thorsten.

Awesome, that makes perfect sense. Thanks TK!

Just need to order a screen and attach my ARM board and I am complete!
