Ok please pardon my PSU ignorance. My goal is to run my sequencer and aout on a single psu. I have a wall wart that is labeled as +/-12 500ma. When I measure it I get right around +/-15. I used a couple regulators to bring this down to as close to +/-12 as I could get it. I was using this with my sid to drive the aout and 2044 filter. The regulators got pretty hot but it seemed to work pretty well. My question is can I safely use this supply to get +/-12 and 5v for my core? If so whats the best way to go about it.

Thanks,

Luke
