ForestCat
Hi, I built the DIY MIDI Merger: MIDI Merger Using the 16f88 variant. Burned the hex file w/ PicKit2, no errors other than a warning about some of the config options not being specified in the hex file. The merger works, i.e it receives data from both ports and echoes it at the output, except for the fact that it is dropping bytes, frequently, losing NoteOff, for example. This seems to be slightly worse on one input than the other. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks. Janis1279
Hi, It's not the same: , but the additional resistor can do more stable the merger work. Regards, Janis
